When Eden, a child confined within a corrupt hospital for his entire life, finally takes his last breath, Fate takes pity on him and transports him into a world somewhat resembling his own. But, naturally, this world includes devils, dragons, and gods living alongside humanity. Fate, being a "benevolent goddess", provides her new champion with tools to defend himself, such as a magical sword with a sinister and violent history, and a magical house that conceals wondrous secrets spanning the multiverse.
{Raid Dungeon Day 21}
As Eden looked into the distance, he saw the last boss of the raid. It was the biggest monster he had ever fought, resembling a moving fortress. The monster had a brown, grotesque appearance with two giant horns, a brown carapace, small beady eyes, and a long tail. To compare it to something he knew, it was like a T-rex but much larger and brown. This monstrous creature was called a Tarrasque, and Eden's main task for the past three days had been to defeat it.
Examining the beast from a vantage point where it couldn't see him, Eden noticed the wounds he had inflicted on its body. Thanks to Fated Wounds, the monster's typically remarkable regeneration was being suppressed. However, because of its regeneration and high magic resistance, many of the high-level attack magics stored in his rings and wands weren't effective for finishing it off from a distance. Avoiding a direct confrontation was out of the question.
For the last three days, Eden had been methodically wearing down the Tarrasque's health and stamina, never allowing it a moment's rest. "Okay, weaver, I think it's about time," he communicated.
["Yes, sir,"] came the response.
Eden had been targeting a specific part of the Tarrasque throughout these three days - its left eye. He had managed to rip out that eye and had been working on breaking the bone behind it to access the brain. But first, he needed to position himself correctly to utilize the momentum from the dive.
Activating a ring on his hand, the sky above him darkened as meteors fell to the earth. As the first meteor struck the beast, it looked up, providing Eden with the best opportunity.
"Godspeed: Beyond Light," he announced. Diving down at the monster faster than it could react, he flew right through the now empty eye socket of the Tarrasque, nearly charging headfirst into the bone behind it. He activated another ability as he did so.
"Mana Burst." Large amounts of mana flowed into his hand and then into the blade as it pierced the bone, shattering it. The vibrations from the Tarrasque's roar of pain reverberated beneath him. Now, he was faced with the pinkish flesh that he recognized as the brain of the creature.
"Lady Fate, guide my blade and aim it true."{Fated Strikes}
Eden's blade, now equipped with Fated Strikes, could not miss, and every swing and peirce hit the most vital areas of the beast's brain. The spell was like an aimbot for a sword, never allowing Eden to hit a non-vital target.
Finally, a holographic message popped up in his view.

A lot has changed about his state, both his Animacy and Transmutation skills have skyrocketed, primarily because that's been his focus for the last week or so. He didn't notice any other major changes, so he decided to exit the simulation. Suddenly, he found himself back in the familiar stone room, and now all the trainees were there with him. They all looked pretty pale and almost sickly.
"Are you guys okay?" After saying that, they all looked around, realizing they were back in the dungeon room. "You guys know you can't really die in there, right?" He walked over to stand in front of them. Eden had died in a simulation before, but that was a long time ago, so he sort of understood where they were coming from. One moment a blade is coming for your neck, the next you were here.
"Everyone, take a five-hour break. I'll be in the training arenas programming your new opponents if you need me." After teleporting to the training arenas, he went to the master control panel to start programming the new training simulators. About an hour in, someone entered the room.
"Eden, can we talk for a moment?" Rias said.
"Oh, the training will follow the same schedule, only the difficulty will change."
"No, I think that my peerage and I are strong enough. I think we can end the training early. I will, of course, still keep my end of the bargain and get you what you desire from Riser."
"Strong enough? Do you really think you're strong enough?"
"I mean..." Before Rias could finish her statement, Eden cast a Tier Three Mana Body spell on himself, turned around, and, faster than Rias could perceive, punched her in the face. Because he only used a Tier Three Mana Body, it didn't send her flying, but he could feel that he had broken her nose and definitely knocked out at least one tooth. Rias, now in combat mode, tried to conjure an energy shield to protect herself, but he dispels it since they were in the manor. He could disallow any use of magic.he stopped the conjuring and delivered a kick to Rias's side. This blow, imbued with more mana, sent her flying.
"I cannot let you go back into the world that weak while saying that I trained you, you understand. I've spent the past week coming up with plans, creating spells, and figuring out the best techniques to make you guys stronger. You're basically spitting in my face." After saying that, Rias tried to use the power of destruction against him. This time he decided, instead of just disallowing the magic, he was going to try out some new transmutation magic.. He cast a spell, {Energy Transformation: Living Matter}, and as soon as the bolt of destruction came into Eden's range, the spell turned it into a flock of butterflies.
"You are weak." After saying that, Eden stopped attacking Rias and just let her think.
"I am weak, but I don't want my peerage to suffer anymore. They may be getting stronger, but they are suffering for my sake. Every day, they have been getting almost killed just to come back a bit stronger. They need to get stronger, I need to get stronger, but not like this. They all died to protect me, and I could do nothing. I could do nothing, and now, now they all look like they are ready to die again just if it means to get a bit stronger..."
"What's the problem with that? That's the way I trained all my life." Eden had always trained like this and didn't know anything different.
"Does your peerage want to stop?"
"No," she said, shaking her head.
"Well, you aren't their parent, you're their king. It's your duty to make sure they don't have to use their training by making sure things don't get violent. But when it does..."
"It's their duty to protect me."
"Yes, have you heard this before?"
"My ancestor Runenas, she told me that."
"Well, she was a wise woman. So, are you going to be good to continue?" Eden knew that all too well because his mother had also been the person to tell him that, just about business and not ruling over devils.
Eden cast {Full Heal}, helped Rias up, and she responded.
"I will ask my peerage, and if they say they want to continue, then we will. But if they don't..."
"They'll have to talk to me." And with that, their conversation ended.
