people can simply look innocent yet deep down they can hurt you in many ways the night becomes better then day sleeping becomes more better then being awake everything changes once youv get hurt thats why our main character kou dosent want that anymore
kou 17 student dosent really talk much to people and chooses to drift away from others he dosent really talk much well use to
kou was walking with a bag full of ramen ramen in hes area costs around 3$ so its pretty cheap to buy and thats all he ever eats he cant really bring himself to eat and thats why he has trouble sleeping it was day but pretty cold there was alot of snow he walked to the outside of hes apartment and sees a random girl smoking she didnt look like the right age to be doing that stuff tho kou couldnt really do anything he sighs and says something
"hey..." kou stops and sees that shes from the same school he trys to ignore her now but she already heard the hey
"yeah whats up?" the girl says
kou stops in hes track and look at her
"n-not to be rude or anything but arent you a little young to be smo-smoking?" he says nervously
the girl sighs "if you tell the teachers or anyone in the school ill break your legs"
kou is now sweating but he sighs and says
"okay...my bad..."
he looks at the lip piercings she has and smiles a little
"cool piercings" he says with a nervous smile
the girl looks at em not smiling but also not mad
"hm...thanks."
kou lets out a happy sigh seeing that she havent been rude or anything like that kou looks at her and asks
"wh-what are you doing in the cold weather"
she looks down
"i was supposed to be here for a date...but he didnt show up"
kou stops smiling and looks at her
"h-hey....." he grabs something from hes bag he gives her one of hes ramen and smiles nervously
"here.."
the girl eyes widend and she laughs out loud
kou was sweating again very nervous
"....thanks...my name is hakura...by the way.."
kou smiles a little
"my name is kou."
hakura looks at him
"well...cya kou" she walks away
after that day kou has been questioning why did he want to talk to that girl since he dosent usually talk much
he was walking to hes school when he suddenly hears a familiar voice but some dude screaming he went to check and see the same girl hakura getting screamed at by some dude
kou was nervous but then walks to the dude
"h-hey man.....isnt that a little too far?"
the dude looks at kou angrily
"MIND YOUR BUSINESS GO PROTECT SOMEONE ELSE GIRLFRIEND"
kou eyes widend knowing that she is in a relationship he sighs
"this is why i hate talking to people."
the guy was confused
"huh???"
kou looks at him grinning he grabs hes arm and twist it
the guy screams off pain
"GAHHH"
he tries running away but kou grabs hes head almost crushing it on the ground until hakura stops him
"h-hey STOP!"
kou finally comes back and looks at her nervously
"i...im sorry...i dont know what just happend to me"
hakura sighs "its fine"
the guy runs away and hakura looks down
"im breaking up with that jerk"
kou smiles nervously
"o-oh."
hakura looks at him
"thanks for trying to help me but...never hurt someone like that again"
kou looks down
"sorry."
hakura sighs
kou looks at her
"question."
hakura looks at him confused
"hm?"
kou smiles a little
"so your single now r-right?"
hakura is still confused
"mhm?"
kou looks down nervously not wanting to say it outloud
"th..then wanna go on a date with...me?"
hakura chuckles but looks down
"no thanks...i find it pointless...plus...i really need a break"
kou sighs
"o-oh okay"
hakura walks away waving a goodbye
"well...cya"
kou stands still and smiles but deep down hes very hurt

kou started walking to hes apartment and sighs but he wasnt really looking at anything just the ground before he looked up he sees a car going so fast he tries running away but instead dies.
he wakes up to see people staring at him he looks at them nervously and gets up running away to hes apartment he walked to the bathroom and stare at the mirror confused
"am...i dead....how am i still alive...that car hit me....i...i felt that pain" he looks at himself nervously
after 2 hours past he went outside again but instead of seeing humans he saw weird looking creatures and some people walking with old clothes
"wh...what.." he looks at them scared he runs to some alleyway and throws up there
"wh-what the hell is going on....the place looks the same but the people are different."
he hears a women voice behind him
"your a lost soul your dead but for some reason you can still talk and feel the undead your in both worlds which is kinda strange iv been watching you."
kou looks behind him scared he sees a cute girl with a katana
"wh-who are you"
the women sighs
"my name is haru im a soul guardian"
kou looks confused
"a...a soul what?"
the girl sighs
"you still havent figured out huh your dead dumbass."
kou eyes widend and he throws up more
"n-no i cant be dead" he says tearing up
the girl sighs and leans on the wall
"i feel you but hey dont look at those creatures weird they are what you guys put in your books"
kou looks at her confused
"h-huh?"
the girl kicks him to some wall
kou screams in pain
"quiet those things you gived weird looks are yokais and they help making the undead world a better place this place is being guarded by us soul guards so these samurais cant kill them got it dumbass if you tell one person that i will kill you."
kou backs away nervously
"i promise...i wont"
the girl walks away but looks at em one more time
"by the way here." she gives him a paper
kou looks at the paper confused
"call me if your still lost." the girl says annoyed and walked away
kou walks to hes school and sits nervously everyone looked at him weird seeing that he had some blood on hes mouth and how he is so nervous
kou looks at the window seeing those yokai creatures again but he hides hes nervousness he sighs and thinks in hes mind
"im....dead...yet...im not?"
hakura walks to him
"hey dude whats wrong with your mouth theres blood on it"
kou eyes widend and wipes it off
he says nervously "its..nothing"
hakura sighs
"do you wanna maybe take a walk....im here if you need anything..."
kou calms down and smiles a little
"sure....."
