ELECTION OF HEART

I and Jordan were called by principal at his cabin. He warned us to maintain the dignity of school campus. After few days there was a announcement for the election of president of college.

It was mandatory that those students who will give their best in their coming exam only those will be allowed to participate in this school election.

Our exams started . I have given my best and was hoping or I can say I was just praying that no one else score more marks than me. The results came after one week of exam. I crissed-crossed my fingers. My eyes were staring the upper wall of the room . I was clenching my lips bcoz it was somewhere my need to become president of my college bcoz if it is seen then a president of college holds entire power of the college.

Announcement started...

"My dear students I appreciate all of you to show your caliber, not for exam but under the pretext of president you all have scored very excellent marks this year. The percentage rate grew much higher this time than previous years. "

I became more tensed.

" I am announcing those students' name who are going to participate in the election of president. Rest all can check their results on the the notice board.

So here we go.....

"From class Xll ...

Mr. Altamonte, Mr.Schuki, Mrs Pari Desai, Mrs Samian Corti, Mr.Rudra jaysingh, Mrs Sofie Danielle.

From class Xl .....

Mrs. Aahana Malik, Mr.Jordan Nick , Mr. Darren , Mrs.Scarlett , Mrs.Shakti Soni and Mr. Abhigyan Shashwat.

I was very happy by the announcement.

" Now the topper of class Xll is ........Mr. Altamonte."

(cheers).

"And the topper of class Xl is........Mr.Abhigyan.". (cheers).

I looked at Scarlett and Jordan and gave them wicked smile.

The class was dispersed.

Our class teacher came and congrats me on behalf of studies.

"So Abhi you have scored good marks but what I wanna know is that you had studied this much for exam or for election.". our class teacher asked to me.

"Sir to be very true,... for elections". I smiled.

He smiled too and started teaching. After three hours of study we got lunch break. We saw that there was a a crowd near the notice board. We went there. Some information regarding the election was written on that board. We were not able to get what was written due to the crowd so we went from there and finished our launch first.Then Darren stood up and went somewhere. Darren got one hard copy of that message and came to us. It was written some thing like this....

" From this year two presidents will be choosen for our school ... One male and one female. So participants should have their partners for their their helps in some special tasks i.e..dancing , balancing rope etc...

I straight forwarded to Aahana to become my partner in this election. I did this because I already saw that Scarlett going towards Jordan. So I stepped backwards. She said yes and accepted my offer. I was very happy .

I went home and relax. After few minutes I started studying and then afterwards I went on the roof where my elder brother and my cousin both were present already. I greet them good evening. My cousin was in the same school in which I was studying.

"So congratulations brother" Rwihan (cousin)said to me .

"Why ... may I also know Abhi"?? my elder brother asked.

"You have not told to him"??? Rwihan stared on me ..... so.. let me explain now actually he scored highest marks in his exam and got opportunity to take part in the election of president of the college."

"Really oh man that's such a great news, you should tell to dad he'll be very happy ...elder brother said.

" And by the way whom you have chosen as your partner"??? Rwihan asked to me .

"Aahana ." I replied to him.

"Now what is this partner.!!!! " my elder brother asked me.

"To encourage the team work and proper coordination among students our college has decided that every participants should have one partners to help him/her and, from this year two presidents will be elected , one boy and one girl . Not....for all tasks just for some tasks both have to perform together .......

"It's not like...aaaaaa..... partner will win together no. Decisions will be made by individual performance ... it's just to appreciate collaboration you know isn't it ??Rwihan said by uttering my sentence.

"Yah" I said.

My elder brother asked me" why you have not gone for Scarlett"???

"You also know "Rwihan asked in a surprising way to my el.br. .

you know what bro, every student of our college know that Mr. Abhi likes that thing of the mall which is already sold and laughed.

After a long talk we came down and went back to room.

After few hours my sister-in-law (Bhabhi) came in my room and asked me if I have seen her husband. I nodded in no and stepped out with her in search of my el.br.

We changed our direction and started searching him separately. I found him in the guest room and was working on computer. I went to them and said Bhabhi is searching you outside.

"What , I have already told her that today's work is so important to me to finish and it could take so much time, so I'm going in the guest room and told her to sleep " my el.br. said to me.

"May be ....she will need something from you before sleep." I smiled.

He said shut up and went out from the room.

I also went to my room and winked at my el.br. and said good night to both of them.

I went to my room, studied for five hours and as I was going to sleep my mind took me to my el.br.'s room . I started thinking how are they doing should I knock the door or should I give a try to get a look at both of them . I went out of my room . ...
