Chapter- 7. In The Shadows

Life seized a mysterious turn after Jaydev's interjection.

Took aback and flabbergasted Monty merely manages to walk to his room. Feeling empty and blindsided he becomes unconscious.

In the middle of the night, Monty wakes up in a state of parasomnia with numb insights while talking to himself-

(Ridhima. . .Pari , meri beti!!!!!!

Yeh kaise !!!! ...Nhi. . Nhi

Is outraged....

Yeh, aisi baat chupa ke rakhni chahi!!.....lekin kyu?? sirf mujhe haraane ke liye, badla chahiye tha??!!!!!

Pari ke baare mein kabhi nhi socha inhone.

(Nevertheless feels connected while having complete faith in Ridhima AKA Pari)

Jaydev ko jo chahiye, wo kabhi nhi milega. Kyuki Ridhima ne humesha Jaydev aur Jaynandini dono ke upar mujhe "chuna" hai.

"PARI MUJHE DHOKA NHI DEGI, MERE KHILAF KABHI NHI JAYEGI"

(Feels sorry for Ridhima AKA Pari)

*English Translation*

Monty is not in himself and so is Baba Nirala. Disconnected from the outer world and consequently breaking off from the world that he created starts feeling weak and becomes silent. This time he can't share his surfaces even with Bhopa. Self-disgusted and remorseful starts avoiding Ridhima.

He stops showing up in the events held at Niraladham giving the reason of keeping unwell.

Here Sundarlal comes to meet Hukum at his residence. This time it is a casual meeting instead with no intention of ill-treatment but Hukum is certain about Sundarlal's intent to mock him on his wrong judgment on Babaji.

Sundarlalji-

" Iss Baba pe bharosa, hum dono hi nhi karte , ...

Par yeh ladki Ridhima,... jaisi dekhti hai vaisi,...hai nhi.

Hukum- ( is dumbstruck & agitated )

Kya Ridhima ka ana , yeh sab inki saazish hai??????

Sundarlalji-

Hmmmm..mm , manana padega iss Baba ko ..piche baith ke saara khel khel raha hai...aur is had tak, aisa toh koi soch bhi nhi sakta.

"Agar iss Baba, Bhopa aur Ridhima ke tikdi ko harana ho hume sath ana hoga".

{Anyway, none of us trusts this Baba. But this girl Ridhima is not the same as she seems to be. At times I feel surprised and also wonder about witnessing her journey from the beginning till now. I am unable to understand "Why a Prime-minister's daughter wanted to become Cheif-minister? then when she has nothing to do with politics. Instantly from a psychiatrist to CM?? Everything doesn't seem to be the way it is. There must be some reason behind her reaching so far. It seems to be like, these three are together from the beginning and Baba, Bhopa both must be having PM Jaydev Thakur's support. This is what I believe. Baba & Bhopa has played a much bigger game this time and all the more, these three (Baba, Bhopa and that girl Ridhima) who came as psychiatrist in Nashamukti Kendra managed of performing a drama of not knowing each other.}

Hukum- Is Ridhima coming to Niraladham a part of their plan?

Sundarlalji- { I feel like applauding Babaji's big move that he played in a manner by just sitting in one place which no-one could even think of.}

IF WE WANT TO BRING THEM DOWN WE HAVE TO BE TOGETHER.

Sonia comes asking the reason behind Sundarlal's unwelcome visit.

" Hukum says- that he has been knowing Sundarlal for years now and was not at all surprised on his visit. "I was sure that he came to insult me on my failure for not becoming CM ". AND...all of this is because of that Ridhima, who made fool out of me and took away everything from my hands".

"For the first time we spoke singly and yes, he is my rival but he did not have an objective to insult me rather he told me something which cannot be left unattended because 'what he told, was true". Anyways...

(Is infuriated)

"I will never forget what Ridhima did to me. She double-crossed me. I always looked upon her as a good human being. I promised to support her and gave her a chance while believing in her but she is no different than 'Baba' and 'Bhopa'. But now, that's enough for me. This time no one can stop me and even if you like it or not Sonia, I will not keep quiet".

Sonia-(Is bothered) What are you up to Hukum? Are you going to protest against her while passing a no-confidence?

(Hukum walks away in disgust)

Hukum- Call for an urgent meeting with Dilawar, Banno and Tinka.

Meanwhile, Sonia is worried for Ridhima as she has no idea what will be Hukum's next move against her, there is someone who has taken notice of Jaydev and Jayandini's dialogue the prior night and has learned about the mystery !!??
