Chapter - 2. The Illusion

Bhopa is unable to gauge Babaji's strange behaviour. Anyway, it is more important to remove the bullet from Ridhima's waist as the earliest.

Dr Sharan is out of town and in his absence, Ridhima used to examine his departmental work hence currently there is no one nearest to aid. Poison starts circulating inside her body. Babaji tells Bhopa to video call

Dr Sharan and under his supervision, Babaji is successful in removing the bullet. Dr Sharan prescribes medicines. Although Ridhima is out of danger she catches a fever due to the infection caused by the bullet and continues to be unconscious until the poison comes out in the form of sweat.

The next morning Ridhima comes conscious while still feeling weak.

Bhopa feels guilty about his earlier actions. He is well acquainted with whom the bullet was for and who was at gunpoint and Ridhima took it upon herself.

Babaji doesn't want to face Ridhima after the last night. Makes a foolproof plan to avoid her while keeping himself busy with his Satsang, meetings & dealings lined up. Ridhima often asks about Babaji for which Bhopa is not having any answer.

Bhopa to Babaji-

'Ridhima puchti reheti hai tere baare mein. Ek baar bhi milne nhi gaya tu. Kya jawab du use? Tere khene pe khayal rakh raha hu uska...lekin yeh kuch ajeeb nhi hai...Tere rehete mein kyu khayal rakhu uska? Dur kyu bagh raha usse?

Aur Uski gardan pe kya tha??' (What was written on her neck?)

Babaji- 'Mein nhi aa sakta isiliye toh bola hai tujhe. Kisi aur pe bharosa nhi kar sakta....Ghussa aa raha hai..Bahot.

Bhopa- 'Ghussa? kyu? ..pehele pyaar aa raha tha..ab ghussa ..pehele wo ignore karti thi tujhe..ab tu kar raha hai use.

Sadhvi comes sounding feeling guilty and thus wants to apologize. Conscious about an incident that happened to Ridhima ascertains to take care of her in Bhopa's absence.

News reaches Babita, Sanobar and Pammi about the gunshot incident and they visit Ridhima. Hukum and Sonia wonder about who might have fired the bullet on Ridhima.

Bhopa discusses the whole occurrence with his people and tells them to investigate.

Sadhvi goes to meet Ridhima and apologizes to her-

'Aapka haal puchne aagaye. Aapko khass pasand nhi karte the hum. Par ab sab kuch badal gaya hai'.

Ridhima- 'Hum jante hai..aapko Babaji ki fikra hai.. isiliye shayad...aap apni jagah bilkul thik hai'.

Sadhvi- 'Babaji ki fikra karni ki ab jarurat nhi hai hume'... Kisi cheez ki jarurat ho toh batayie.

Ridhima requests Bhopaji to take her to Babaji's Pratah Aarti. Bhopa refuses and first asks her to let out everything that she was hiding for so many days. She says the topic is very personal and hence will unfold only to Babaji. Bhopa is very angry but at the same time is not having any option other than giving attention as told by Babaji.

Babaji doesn't make her feel present in the Pratah Aarti as avoiding her has become a ritual.

Ridhima decides to go on fasting until Monty stops ignoring her. While Bhopa tries to convince her actions to stand irrelevant and is pretty confident about Monty who will not take her childish acts seriously, Sadhvi supporting her says that Babaji is doing wrong to her.

Some issues were raised between the villagers related to the kara jungle land on which the 'swarg Bhoomi project' was to be constructed hence Sundarlalji comes for discussion in regards and informs Babaji that he is been successful in resolving the disputes while assures to take into consideration of their demands.

Bhopa's team is unable to find out about the gunshot-related matter.

After Sandhya Aarti Bhopa finally manages to speak with Babaji AKA Monty who was busy all day long.

Bhopa- Ridhima ne khana khane se mana kar diya. Subhah se kuch nhi khaya...wo muh mein ek niwala nhi dalegi jab tak tu milke baat nhi karta usse. Aur jitna samaay lagayega...badd mein paani pina bhi band kar degi.

Monty- Mana kar diya..Toh phir samja usse.

Bhopa- Haa..samja usse...Pehele toh wo teri tarah hi ziddi hai...nhi manegi. Sadhvi gai thi Ridhima se milne..mujhe bol rahi thi.

Monty- Kab? kaise?

Bhopa-yeh chod..pagaloon wali harkatoon mein bhi saat de rahi hai uska.

Monty- Sadhvi par nazar rakh Bhope..mujhe bharosa nahh ho raha.

Ridhima se dosti ...kuch thik na lagra.
