"You F*CKING ASSHOLE!!"

Max yelled, swinging his fist at the man. However, before Max's punch landed, the bodyguards quickly pointed their guns at his head.

"Hey, hey! Everyone calm down!" Garry jumped in front of Max, trying to shield him with his smaller frame.

"Max, let's just go," Serena urged, and Max, still frustrated, lowered his hand and stepped back, still glaring at the guards. The guards and his bodyguard also stepped back, wearing satisfied smiles.

"Are you trying to get us all killed?"

Serena scolded. Aaron, observing the situation, remained motionless, his gaze locked onto another person.

This person was a well-built guy wearing a red T-shirt and a black blazer. His hair was black as night, and his smile held a sense of enigma.

He walked toward Aaron and the group, casually munching on an apple.

"Ah, are you guys need of money?" the guy spoke, his voice deep and commanding.

Max and Serena turned their attention to the man standing near Aaron, assessing him from head to toe.

After a moment, he spoke again, addressing Aaron, "Would you be interested in working for me? you will earn more than you desire, you know." He winked at Serena, taking another bite of the apple.

Aaron understood thee need of money for their group.

He glanced at Max, Serena, and Garry before turning to the guy and saying, "Sure."

Guided by the man, they ventured deep underground to an office space. Inside, the room was cluttered with an assortment of weapons, drugs, and various illicit items.

Gesturing towards a couch, the man continued to munch on his apple.

Aaron, Serena, and the others took seats, with Max standing nearby, arms crossed, still visibly upset about earlier.

"Where do you guys come from?" the man asked.

"It's not really important" Max retorted.

"Hahaha, fair enough."

"Tell us about the job," Serena interjected.

"Hmm, it's a time-sensitive task. Practically every bounty hunter in JavaCity is on the hunt for it.

There's a major auction taking place, and the thing you need to do is help me steal a small briefcase from the Javatower," the man explained, excitement evident in his gaze as he focused on Aaron and Serena.

"Why us?" Aaron questioned.

"Well, I see potential in you, and of course, I'll get my cut too."

"We did what that caught your attention, huh?" Max asked as he stared at the man.

"So you just want us to go and steal for you?" Garry inquired.

The man turned his gaze to Garry and responded, "No, I just want you all to accompany my member and assist her." He said while sliding a card on table towards the group.

"What's this?" Aaron asked, Max quickly took it looking at it with excitement in his eyes

"A Geo Card huh!" Max said

"Geo Card?" Aaron asked confusedly looking at Max.

"It's like virtual money, you can swipe and buy things through this" Max explained.

The man sitting furrowed his brow in confusion

"You don't know what a Geo card is kid?" He asked.

"He actually lost his memory, poor guy remember nothing." Garry said looking at Aaron with pity.

"Oh, I am sorry, how you lost them? the man asked as he leaned totally interested.

"An accident." Serena intruppted and added as she changed the topic "That aside why are you giving this money to us?"

The man rested back in his chair munching his apple and said "Well, I just want you to help my crew member stealing something from there and assist her."

"You mean to assist her in stealing that briefcase from JavaTower? and where's your group member?"

"There!" He gestured towards a spot behind the group, drawing their attention to where Lolita stood.

Her gaze locked onto the group, her eyes widening with recognition.

"Both of you!" Serena and Lolita exclaimed in unison, pointing at each other.

"Oh, so you all know each other," the man remarked, clapping his hands.

"Yes, Jake. They're the ones who gave me a lift," Max's mood quickly shifted as he glanced at her.

"Miss Lolita!" Max's voice brimmed with excitement.

"Look at him," Garry muttered, rolling his eyes. Lolita ignored Max, focusing her gaze on Aaron, Serena, and then Jake.

"Alright then! It seems like you'll make a good team, huh!" Jake said, smiling and motioning for them to leave. "Off you go! The deadline for stealing this item is 1 AM, and right now it's 8 PM. Time's ticking!"

They all gathered and exited, leaving Jake alone, who picked up another apple from the table, smiling towards the group.

"Oh goodness, I can't believe I'm doing this!" Garry exclaimed as he walked away.

"Hey, where are you off to?" Max asked, trying to stop him.

"I'm on a quest to find the medicine I've been searching for, and I'm not getting involved in any of the shady stuff!" Garry said, disappearing from sight.

Max clicked his tongue, watching Garry go, and then turned his attention to Lolita, who was walking alongside Aaron, with Serena behind him, clearly looking upset.

Max gradually approached Lolita, clearing his throat before speaking. "So, how have you been, Lolita?"

"Fine," Lolita replied curtly. Max scratched his head, struggling to come up with a topic. But Aaron beat him to it.

"So, you're a thief." Aaron remarked.

Lolita glanced at Aaron as they walked. "No, I am not, I am just part of this group and carry out such missions." Aaron kept his focus ahead, while Max continued to search for words to say to Lolita.

"Well, Miss Loli—" Max began, but Lolita cut him off with a wave of her hand.

"Please, stop with the 'miss.' Just call me Lolita."

Serena rolled her eyes and asked, "And where are we headed to? And we never agreed to take on this mission."

"Jake must have given you the card." Lolita replied.

"Oh yes, wait I have it" Max said showing it to lolita.

"That's your advance for the task," Lolita replied as she looked at Serena

"How much this card have?"

"300 thousand GeoCoins"

"Huh!!??" Max exclaimed looking at the card.

"Alright, what's the plan then?" Serena asked, surprisingly interested after hearing the amount"

Lolita remained silent. After a few more minutes of walking, they arrived at a shop.

Max and Serena exchanged curious looks.

Lolita knocked on the door, "What" a plump woman opened it. "Oh, it's Lolita!" she greeted, recognizing her.

Lolita brushed past her and entered the shop. She turned to see Aaron, Serena, and Max standing by the door. "What? Come on in."

As they entered, the room was filled with an array of guns, laser beams, swords, and bombs. It was a weapons shop.

"Take whatever suits you," Lolita said as she picked up two compact iMP5 guns from the assortment.

"But we don't have money," Max pointed out.

Lolita swiftly loaded both guns. "Consider it a gift." Max's excitement was evident. "Really?"

He eagerly moved to explore the weapons on display.

"And what about both of you?" Lolita turned to Aaron and Serena, who exchanged glances.

Aaron clenched his fist, while Serena adjusted her sword on her back, both of them replying in unison,

"We're good."
