Introduction

This is a world plagued with misfortune. Monsters run amok and humanity, along with all other races, has dwindled to minuscule numbers. As hope falls some gods give mercy to a dying race, creating great walls to protect them from harm. As humanity slowly regained its footing from the monsters' assault, magic was released into the realm.

While humans could not make use of the magic, a strain of monsters more docile than others could, although they had less of a physical form as a result. Thus, they have named them Spirits. Spirits were found to be tameable and this led to the rise of an occupation known as Beast Taming. The tamers were able to make use of these beings and the powers they possess.

Now that humanity has gained the ability to fight back against the beasts, they fight to reclaim the land from these beasts as a new threat arises.

Our journey begins in a land that is everywhere, but nowhere all at once. A land of legend; a land of mystery and intrigue. A place full of wonderful secrets that humanity either lost or wish they had. A land riddled with vile beasts, but also brave warriors. A place that has been quiet for far too long. A place full of adventures itching for anything but silence.
