Chapter 43: A New Day
Humans were always so fragile and weak when it came to death. Cleaned from his fight, Scott could only stare down at Edwin and found himself at a loss.
“We can handle the body, bury it and hide it away where humans won’t find it. Nature will take care of the rest,” Miles reassured Scott, the wolf shifter was grateful for Miles' help but he found himself worrying about the rest of the pack.
“You need to focus on the pack you’re going to be leading. They might fight against you but they will follow your commands. I know you can be a great Alpha and perhaps you are exactly what they needed. Your father would have been proud of you,” Adan spoke up and despite all the tension between nephew and uncle, Scott was grateful for his words of encouragement.
