“It’s a good thing that we decided to stop here, for now, the pack can’t be expected to make the run for so long,” Otis said. Otis was already getting tired from the run as it was, and he knew that Edwin was willing to listen to whatever he had to say.
“Humans are everywhere, whether we like it or not. Seeing as we’ve also helped create stories about rabid wolves on the loose, it isn’t like we can just run free on the sides of the roads.” Edwin responded. He didn’t regret helping the stories to grow and spread, Edwin like the rest of the pack took great pride in the stories of rabid wolves.
It just meant that humans were finally starting to realize that they, the Vicious Furs Pack, were a bigger threat than they thought. Whether they realized that the ‘rabid wolves’ were actually wolf shifters or just oversized wolves didn’t matter to the pack.
