Eavesdrop

Brian would never have imagined that someone would dare to eavesdrop on him. His bedroom was the most guarded place in the entire mansion with several arrays and noise cancellation spells. He was a prestigious figure in his empire, hence his and his wife's safety were always his priority. He had also put the arrays on her daughters' room which in terms of power were not less than his arrays.

Nobody could enter there and had to maintain at least a 5-meter distance from their bedroom, otherwise, they would be killed instantly by the array's sharp lasers, and with noise cancellation spell he didn't bother to ask Mrs. Taylor to turn her volume down.

It was midnight, and he had just entered inside the mansion, when he heard his little sweeties talking and giggling. He stopped for a moment and wanted to greet them, but then he remembered that for the time being he had to to remain in dark. He gave a bitter smile, who would have thought that one day he would be tied to his fate and at the end he won't be able to greet his sweeties.

He was going to turn around and had no intention to eavesdrop on them, after all, they were now grown up, and it wouldn't be nice to snoop on his sisters, but then he heard them talking about their dream. He got intrigued, and he wanted to know what sort of dreams his little sweeties saw which took their slumber off.

As far as he knew his sisters were one of those women who love to sleep and would miss anything in the world for good food and sleep. With this in his mind, he merged in the shadows and heard their full conversation.

His face scrunched in annoyance when he heard that camy kissed a random boy, and an expression of disbelief crossed his face. Suspicion was written all over his face. He knew that something was utterly wrong, and a big conspiracy was taking place behind the curtains, but he was not sure who was against whom, so he had decided to watch and observe them from the sidelines, without teaming with anyone. He quickly left the garden before her sister could sense his presence.

Although they had their guards lowered because they were in their home, but it would be a matter of seconds before they both found out about him. They had considerably grown up their level, though he was sure that they won't be able to defeat him, but he didn't want to fight them to begin with. He can never lift his hands on his sweeties but surely, they can feel the presence.

Few years later---

Camy and Ceci were unaware that their big brother had heard everything, including Camy kissing Vladis.

"How could you kiss a random boy camy", asked Rune in an enraged voice.

"I am sorry brother", replied Camy in a pitiful voice and then glared towards Vladis.

Vladis "Ahem, hey brother-in-law, she just kissed her future husband, no need to make a scene here."

Rune "you wish. I don't have a brother-in-law who would be blown away by the stroke of wind."

Camy "…"

Vladis "…"

Everyone "...Isn't he Knight commander…. pffft…..".
