A Scary Dream
"Ahhhhhhh!"
"Run!!!"
She run as fast as she could. Her legs started feel numb but she can't stop because she knew that once did, she'll die.
"Arghhh!!!!!!!!"
She can hear screams of people dying and the sound is coming near her. She ran faster and faster.
"Please...Please...." She muttered.
She wanted to make it. She wanted to return to him. He was there waiting for her.
After running for such a long time, she could see place she longed for. She smiled with relief. As if she regained strength, she her legs ran faster. And in the dark sky, she saw countless of lights coming near her that made her eyes widened.
"Whoooosh!!!!"
"Whoooosh!!!!"
"Whoooosh!!!!"
"Boooooom!!!!!!!!!"
"Boooooom!!!!!!!!!"
These bombs is for killing the creatures behind her but it appears that the people aiming them don't even care about the people that could die here.
"What the heck are they doing?! Hey, there still people here!!!!!" She shouted at them.
The bombs continued to shot at them and the sounds made her scream as if a whisper. Great, now aside from running away from her enemies she has to run away from these bombs too.
The destruction surrounded her which made her stop.
"Ha....ha...ha..." She looked around to see where she could run to.
"Alexandria!!!!" A man shouted far away from her.
She knew this voice! He came for her!
"I'm here!!!!" She shouted back but the smoke made it impossible for her to see him.
As she was looking for him she suddenly feel a sharp pain in her chest. She looked down just to see herself stabbed with a knife and bleeding.
"You should've stay where you were and not come back. I could have let you live but you were just so stubborn."
A voice came out of nowhere spoke to her.
"W-hhat...." Her vision becoming blurry so she can't recognize the person in front of her.
"I guess this is for the best. Your death will make my life better." Then the voice disappeared.
Thud!
Her body lost strength and fell into the ground. She looked into the sky as if she could him in front of her.
"I-i'm s-orry..." 'I couldn't keep my promise to you...'
She then tearfully closed her eyes.
RIIIIIIINNNNGGGGGG!!!!!!!!
At the sound of the alarm, she opened her eyes and immediately sat up.
"Ha...ha...ha....ha" she panted.
She brushed her hands to her face to calm herself and looked at her surroundings. Relief came to her as she realized that it was her room and not that battlefield.
"Oh God, what a scary dream."
She said to herself but she could feel her hands shivering.
She looks at the clock on her bedside table and found out that it was 4:30 am. She lay back in her bed and stared at the ceiling.
'What was that dream? It feels so real...'
'Was it because I was reading too many apocalypse novels these days or.... is it a premonition?'
Recalling her dream earlier, she shivered.
'Nah, that's impossible. There's no such thing as those kind of monsters...'
She divert her attention in thinking of her upcoming schedule these days. Such as their company project that will be finished today, her boyfriend's birthday, the result of the raffle that she joined and welcoming dinner for her friend.....
'I've got so many things to do...let's see...'
'Most of my work is final and it's just for printing and signature, Ryan's birthday is next week so I have to buy him a gift tomorrow and the restaurant reservation is also done, Claude is returning from business trip next week and I've already ordered flowers and a banner when I welcome him at the airport...hehe... I'm such a good friend, I bet he'll be surprised when we meet.'
She checked the clock and was surprised to see that it was already 5:30 am. She spend an hour just daydreaming! She'll be late for work!
She immediately get out of the bed and head to the bathroom.
