Elder Dragons

Grace who heard the conversation of true dragons couldn't help but gulp after all she also resides in here.

Because this is The Celestial Dragon Range, the mountain range where most powerful true dragons and Eris reside.

Everyone active true dragon on the island are young dragons among the dragons and all the elder dragons who are the true strong ones are resting inside their caves.

Do the elder dragons don't take part in the dealings of the dragon continent?

No they do and usually are very active but because of an incident that happened four years ago they all are critically injured and are currently resting to recover themselves.

Four years ago inside oceans a demonic poison hydra, a common hydra plant growing at the depths of oceans successfully broke through the level of demi-god and threatened all continents because of its deadly poison.

During this period the humans, demons, elves and other species united altogether to deal with this demi-god level hydra which threatens the whole sea and their continents.

The navy in this period still uses the wooden ships to sail the seas to attack the hydra but were not able to attack it and began to lose.

At that time the previous king of dragons and Eris's father lead all elder dragons with him to kill the demonic poison hydra and was successful in doing so but doing this all dragons got themselves poisoned and the Eris's father, Adonis was the one who suffered the most and died a year ago making Eris the new king of dragons.

The elder dragons also got injured badly but thankfully no one died and needed rest to recover themselves.

Because of this for the past 4 years the next generation of young dragons took it upon themselves to govern the island.

Even if it is the young dragons who are in charge of the dragon Island don't underestimate their strength at all.

Most of the young dragons here are intermediate dragons while some who have more talent have already become advanced mages.

And the strongest of all young dragons was Lord Eris himself who had already become a master mage when he was just in his early twenties which made all dragons admire him more because of his talent.

If you compare this to a human you may not find it much amazing as there are some geniuses amongst the humans who had also reached this stage.

You may all wonder if it isn't that great of a deal then why the dragons are still considered superior than the humans?

You see, the dragons are born superior to humans and in the same cultivation realm it would require dozens of powerhouse level humans to even complete an average dragon.

They are so big and their mana reserves are no joke at all hence they require a lot of time to cultivate and mature in comparison to humans.

Coming back to the topic in hand the elder dragons present here on this range.

All elder dragons have a cultivation base of at least a mage king and even have two dragon elders with the cultivation base of Magic Saint who are the strongest in the entire dragon continent.

There are thousands of these strong dragons residing in these caves who don't want to be disturbed by others for the moment if someone even tries to cause trouble here you can imagine what fate he or she waits for him.

Usually the ancestral dragon race like holy dragons aren't allowed to enter these ranges but this time Grace was fortunate enough to enter in these ranges.

Holy Dragon Clan wasn't a strong clan and ranks amongst the last in terms of strength but they are still respected by other dragon races since they are the only race which has a holy element innately present in them and are also the only race of dragons who are capable of manipulating the holy element.

Though there are cases where true dragons being born with Holy element are seen but in the present era there are no other dragons who wield the holy element.

The true dragons and grace talked amongst themselves while paying attention to their surroundings especially the cave in which their lord is trying to awaken his talents and suddenly got alarmed by their instincts.

They all stopped talking and looked in the direction of the cave at the same time.

"What's happening there?"

They all carefully looked at the cave in alert as their instincts screamed so suddenly.
