"It was Miriam. She told me that you two were using me and that she wouldn't allow me to mate with you two. I told her that she lied to me and used me but she claimed that she was doing it to protect me. " I said, recalling how crazy she had looked.
I couldn't believe that I had trusted her. I had been vulnerable in front of her and all the while she was using me to cause chaos. The reason she did that was still lost on me. Since she wasn't stuck in the castle, I wondered what she wanted from me.

Zeus was quiet and again; I couldn't tell what he was thinking. His sitting there just looking at us like that was very weird. Didn't he have any questions?
