31. Humiliated
( WARNING: mention of suicide ahead )
Before we could go further, Kai pushed me away roughly. I had to steady myself on the bed so I wouldn't fall to the floor. The humiliation I felt was like one I had never felt before.
He wiped his mouth as if trying to get rid of the remnants of my saliva from his mouth and I blinked back the tears that were threatening to fall on my face.
I hated him. I would never forget what he did.
" Don't walk in here and throw yourself at me like a whore. Why don't you go back to the man who got you so aroused that I could smell you from the door? " He spat out and threw on a shirt.
I had single-handedly embarrassed myself. The old me would have never been that bold. Maybe I needed to think over my decisions carefully before I did anything.
