SWAPPED 

Returning back to the mansion, Alaric was exhausted from the stress he was taking from the past few months. Restraining his bloodlust, he was becoming weak but he was afraid his vampire side would get dominated if he fulfilled his bloodlust. To hide his identity among humans, he was successful after taking small amounts of stored blood to subside his lust. However, the wrenching thirst for blood was making him insane. 

He led into the office and found Adriana greeting him with a cup of coffee. When his eyes stuck with her gaze, Edna's word cleared more and more. He was confused about her identity as well and wanted to find out the truth. 

"Good morning, Master Alaric." She greeted him with the brightest smile.

"No need to call me Master, Adriana. Call me by my name. I love how my name rolls on your tongue." Alaric stated while taking the tray from Adriana's hand and placed it on the office's desk. He took her arm gently and pulled her closer.
