Valerio watched her, waiting for her to say whatever the reason was for her coming.
"It's about your father," Savanna said.
Valerio's face instantly turned chilly, offended by her words.
"Calm down, Valerio. Hear me out first." Savanna, able to notice the instant change in his demeanor, frowned at him.
A deep breath exited Valerio's nose, and he crossed his legs. "Go on."
Savanna proceeded to say, "I know about what happened between you and your father, and I am here to talk to you about it."
"Savanna, I am not interested in having such a conversation. If that is truly what you came here for, then I am afraid that you have wasted your time," Valerio said to her, his voice tinged with irritation.
Savanna gazed at him, and her scowl deepened even more. "If you don't sit back and listen to me, Valerio, then I will leave your house and you will never lay eyes on me ever again."
