Don't Die On Me, Rose!

She returned to the bed with the phone and, per his order, she called Alex's number.

It rang, but no response came.

They tried again, but just like before, no answer came.

"He is not picking up, your highness." She reported, but unwilling to give up just yet, Logan had her call the number a few more times.

In the end, not even one of the calls was picked up. It even got to the point where they could no longer get a hold of Alex.

It kept telling them that the phone was switched off.

Just what exactly was going on?

Logan frowned as he began to wonder.

Had Alex ditched him again, as he had the previous time?

Did he fail? Did something happen to him? Why on earth wasn't he picking up his calls?

He pondered and turned his head to look at Elise.

"Call Chaol for me." He ordered, and Elise nodded before rushing out of the room.
