Chapter 6

She was walking down the hall but stopped when she felt that she had come far from Nicolas. She looked at her hand and found some red spots on her hand. She started to go towards the physician when she saw someone running towards her and it was none other than her junior and physician.

"Looks like you already heard about that." She said while forwarding her hand in the direction of chole, the physician.

"You have more of it than Sam."

"I know that." After the treatment, Vivien looked at her bandaged hand.

"Thank you Chole, any progress in Ansell's health?" She shook her head.

"He is recovering but slowly so it is hard for me to say if there would be any progress further." Before Chole could look away Vivien caught an emotion in her eyes.

"Having faith in God is all we can do and if possible then we can ask Saintness…Oh, I almost forgot that she is going to provide the relief in the war damaged place."

"There is less hope."

"You are a physician and you are giving up like this."

"I am just a physician but do not have the healing powers."

"I know that, calm down. I know that God will surely see us the way." Vivien came out from the chamber and looked at either side before walking towards the left side where she was met by the second prince.

"God bless your highness." She bowed and when she was about to stand up straight she saw something.

"It seems that the second prince is missing his mother's ring." Second prince held his hand and was shocked.

"Here it is." The ring came between both of them and they looked at the person and found Nicolas.

"Oh! Thank God you have found it. If I would have been king then I would have rewarded you with the title." The second prince took away the ring from Nicolas while Vivien was looking at the prince with a questioning look as she was clearly remembering the title he had given to Nicolas.

"May I know what kind of title you would have given to him?"

"Anything that suits him."

"How about my title?" They both looked at her shocked but on Nicolas face it didn't last long.

"Aren't you the type of person who would rather die with honor than losing your title?" Second prince said with a shocked face.

"I am just putting my guess, who knows that he can also have the title of emperor." She said while looking at Nicolas before looking back at the second prince who was confused and looked at Nicolas.

"Commander, some people in the town are creating ruckus."

"Who are they?" Her voice was stern.

"I am afraid that we don't know but the possibility is that they are from the enemy country."

"Then what are we waiting for?" After saying that she quickly ran to fetch her horse and then entered the town with her companion. She could see from afar that ruckus and quickly speeded up to there. She took out her dragger and threw it in the air and that hit one of the person's clothes and made them stop in their tracks. She reached there.

"Haven't you heard that it is not good to create ruckus without any reason?" She asked when she jumped off her horse.

"Who are you? And who said that we don't have a reason?"

"If you were to live here then you would have known who I am." She said before grabbing his hand while holding the knife and elbowing in his stomach and then kicking on his leg. "This may never let you forget that once you have met Commander Vivien." His eyes widened but before he could have spoken anything they were attacked by her companions.

"We will handle the rest, Commander."

"I want all of them alive, especially him." She pointed at the guy who she had beaten up.

"Understood." She turned away and was about to climb on her horse when she heard someone clapping and she looked ahead and found a man who was about the same age as her. He was having a smirk on his face and he was dressed like any noble.

"Finally, God has bestowed me with this blessing."

"What kind of blessing?"

"It is an honor to meet you Commander Vivien, I have been so eagerly waiting to meet you and it is good to know that you are still alive." He said which made her confused.

"Who are you? Never seen you before in this kingdom."

"That is my bad that I haven't yet introduced myself. I am Albert…" Before he could have said anything further, one of Vivien's juniors spoke up.

"All of them are captured Commander."

"Then let's get moving." Vivien climbed on her horse and rode back to the kingdom

and took them to the dungeon right away.

"So from where should we start?" She asked the people who were thrown on the floor of the cell but she got no reply. "Are we playing a game where you have to stay silent?" She went towards the bars and looked outside. "If this is how you are going to be then be silent even when the pain is flowing through you." After she said that she could hear that her colleagues were already into the action.

"Even if you kill me today, I won't tell you anything." Vivien looked back and stopped her colleagues before reaching towards that man and squatting down before taking out her dragger before putting that on his wrist.

"What are you doing?"

"Killing you just like you said." She said without blinking her eyes which were boring in his but he was scared and she could feel that he was pulling his hand away. "What afraid to die?" She asked with a bit of a mocking voice. "I don't need to know who you are." She said before dragging her dragger towards the part of his heart and placing it over there. "Because I know who you are." After saying that she cut open his clothes and a symbol was visible. "This mark is of that country which had been destroyed by me last year and many of the knights engrave that on their heart side just like you did. I guess your king is really boiling in anger."

"You have destroyed us." He shouted.

"You guys have brought destruction to yourselves and you better know why it has happened to you. Your king had betrayed us and this was the price which you had to pay. Now getting back to work, why are you here? If you don't tell me then either way you are going to die over here as sooner or later I will find it anyway."

"You will never be successful in knowing that."

"Then your decision is already made. Suit yourself." She stood up and brushed off the dust off her dress

"Give them your best treatment." She left the place after saying that.
