Here Comes Veronica (64)

After leaving the hospital, Veronica was about to take a taxi. When she walked along the corridor, a lamp on the ceiling suddenly swayed in the wind.

Veronica felt weird because that kind of lamp shouldn't be shaking.

Then, Veronica saw that the snails above the lamp had loosened, almost about to fall.

Another gust of wind blew, and the lamp was about to fall from above. A middle-aged lady happened to pass by under the lamp, but the lady did not notice it.

Veronica suddenly widened her eyes. Without a second thought, she rushed forward and pushed the middle-aged lady away.

They fell to the ground together, and then they heard the shattering sound of the lamp behind them.

The middle-aged lady shivered in fear in Veronica's arms.

The loud noise attracted the attention of many people nearby. The staff in the hospital rushed over to check it out.

Veronica helped the middle-aged lady up and asked with concern, "Madame, are you alright?"
