Chapter 34

10/5 1:57 (Autumn, Day, Nord Lowrar)

The battle started in full with neither side holding back at all.

Instantly Amber turned back from her Humanoid form to her original one, her eyes made of orange flames with purple sphere shining in the center, her horns made out of solid purple flames attracting Aurora's attention for a second before this last one too returned back to her Dragon form too.

A wave of heat and cold clashed in the middle of the two as Amber unleashed her Aura in full while Aurora enhanced her Territory, the cave and most of the mountain, with her Mana to rapidly cool down the area while her Dragonoids used their "Elemental Manifestation" Innate Skill to launch forward spikes of ice clad in various Attributes.

Said spikes were shattered by Luna as she sent forward five True Darts each seeking and piercing multiple targets before Amber released a wave of golden fire that became a rain of spears.

In response a wall of ice appeared from nothing, blocking them and the following fiery explosions but this was far from enough as Luna used this attack as a distraction to launch her own attack.

"[Annihilation Point]."

The ice shattered from the point of impact, black cracks expanding furiously on the ice, forming a hole big enough for Luna to boldly step in clad in her most combat effective form, a draconic armor presenting a vast pair of wings and a long tail, her Aura fully Unleashed around her, as she ruthlessly attacked one of the twenty three D-Ranked "Frozen Corpses", grabbing its head with one of her hand and punching through its chest, grabbing its heart and expanding her Aura within the other's body, erasing the other's upper body, shattering the skull within her hand before forcibly draining her target of all its blood thanks to her Aura to then rip its Soul from its former body and .

*Familiar 'Warden' Gains the Skill "Cold Immunity" E-Rank.

The deadly cold previously being Resisted by Luna with the continuous use of a minuscule amount of Vital Mana, was now insignificant as her Aura alone would now negate it even without the manifestation of her Familiar as an Armor.

Suddently ice rose around her trying to cage her but her response was as simple as it was direct.

Luna simply released her Aura in a wider range than normal thanks to an effort of will, the ice's growth being slowed before she accumulated electricity and fire around the tip of her tail that opened wide in a mouth, releasing a condensed beam towards a group of E-Rank "Frozen Corpses", bisecting 15 of them instantly and exploding into flames that completely charred the bodies, their Souls being sucked into Luna's body.

*Luna Creates a New Familiar "Spirit" E with the Skills "Undying Body" E and "Coordination" E.

*Luna's Skill "Lunar Resistance" and "Regeneration" Skills Expand because of "Devouring Evolution"

Enraged at the loss of part of her Hoard and full of desire to acquire her in recompense, Aurora tried to attack Luna only to be intercepted by Amber that released a beam of fire concentrated to the point of being solid, sending the True Dragon crashing through the back of the mountain, creating a new entrance to the cave.

As the Dragonoid made to follow their Master, Luna appeared between them, a large quantity of Vital Mana and Black Blood to create 5 of her True Images.

"I'm sorry but I promised my Mate that their battle will be a one-on-one." Ignoring how Amber didn't explicitly ask or accept to be her Mate yet, ten large Magical Circles formed above her, releasing ten great beams of Vital Mana to push them back and away as ferocious roars sounded in the distance. "Why don't you all keep me company for a while." Her Images ran in underneath the falling lasers buying Luna enough time to Summon her newest Familiar within her Armor too, forming armor similar to bones around her forearms, forelegs and her chest.

Luna herself quickly stepped forward, the Aura around her exploding into long and sharp tendrils piercing four more "Frozen Corpses" and forcefully rip their Souls, running forward to grab one of the two C-Ranked "Frozen Corpses" and decapicating it without any hesitation by concentrating her Aura in a minuscule yet sharp blade before crushing simultaneously its head and its heart and lungs.

She needed to eliminate as many and as high a Rank "Frozen Corpses" as quickly as possible or otherwise she would lose once her Images were no longer capable of holding back the C-Ranked "Dragonoids".

Quickly she launched herself to one of the D-Ranked "Dragonoids" in what would be called a dropkick, sending them both to the ground before she flared her Aura to the maximum before compressing it down to a point briefly.

The following explosion shattered the remaining E-Ranked Frozen Corpses and the D-Ranked Dragonoid she previously attacked, Luna hungrily Devouring most of the suddently free Souls.

*Luna Creates a New Familiar "Core" E with the Skills "Dragon Heart" E and "Coordination" E.

The result of this Familiar's existence and Summoning were simple really, her horns, eyes and claws of her skin-tight armor started to shine in a bright white light, acting as additional foci for Luna's Energy.

Her Aura rampaged again around her as she prepared to deal with the others as two of her Images dissolved, causing Luna to click her tongue at the waste of both Vital Mana and Black Blood as she made two new ones and send them back towards the C-Rank Dragonoids that were able to kill them.

Without any further waiting she ran forward, her Aura preceding her body as it washed over the D-Rank Frozen Corpses, smashing them to the ground, before they were crushed into paste by a second violent explosion of power as blood flowed within her mouth.

*Luna's Skill "Devouring Evolution" Increases to D-Rank.

An hungry smile on her face, Luna turned to the rest of her next meals, her Aura changing to match her own true and basic nature, immense claws and fangs crushing the ice and the ground around her, reduciding it first into dust and then into nothing at all, growing furiously again and again.

The reason for such was the immense amount of Potential she just acquired by devouring this immense amount of Magicules.

Immediately her Images moved to end the fight as soon as possible as her facade of strenght and invincibility was just that, considering how an immense quantity of Black Blood was consumed in the creation of her Images, Armor and various Shapes while more than 40% of her Vital Mana was spent to amplify the damage she inflicted and various other miscellaneous expenses.

Fortunately, however, her Aura was not linked to her Energy Quantity but merely Luna's willpower, thing that she had in such an abundance as demonstrated by the monstrous feat that was her ability to keep it active even while sleeping or endaging in an intercourse.

And as shown by the following ridiculous feat.

Immediately Luna's Aura erupted not only from her body but also from all of her Images, fueled by the Lunarian's willpower alone.

Suddently the Aura formed a sphere based on her experience making True Spheres to isolate her meals, assuring they would not be able to escape her to support their master.

The temperature in the frozen cave slowly started to increase as electricity started to fill the air but the most important and threatening thing was that her Aura was continuously Draining blood from all living being there with the implicit threat of instantly killing them once the last drop was taken by ripping their Souls from their bodies while at the same time turning the blood into more Energy for Luna.

Immediately one of the Dragonoids tried to escape by using the original entrance to support his Master only to be stopped by the Barrier of her Aura in a bastardization of a Territory Skill based on her fight with the Earth Drake in the past.

Luna launched a brief look back at the fight between her future Mate and her future meal in Humanoid form, before concentrating on her own fight with a feral grin, well aware that thanks to the Innate Skill "Hoard Creation" and the Racial Skill of "Ice Tyrant Dragon" each Dragonoid was part of her Hoard and this last one could absorb power from them if they are alive.

As a conseguence, if she wanted to help her Amber while keeping her pride safe and sound, she needed to kill the True Dragon's Hoard as soon as possible to make sure they will not support her Phoenix's adversary.

Meanwhile, Aurora and Amber in Humanoid form prepared to fight.

The first one changed from their last meetings, aging to being in her early twenties, a beautifull yet threatening armored dress made out of dense blue and white ice, her Mana raging around her.

The second too changed.

While her age increased to almost her twenties, the most prevalent changes were the purple pupils and the flaming purple horns utop her crown escaping from her golden mane while her equally golden clothes presented deep purple contrasts all over while wielding a long curved sword clad in purple flames with a small layer of golden ones immediately around it.

No words were exchanged as Aurora's ability to think rationally was considerably weakened after her sudden Evolution in an Ice Dragon variant especially with her instincts demaniding she force the one before her and the owner of that beautiful Soul into submission and she had no intention to fight this instinct while Amber had nothing to say to her enemy.

Immediately the battle between the two centuries old rival started, a long burning blade meeting a claw of ice.
