Pei Ziheng's expression softened. At that moment, he was more than content — so what if she had left him previously? And so what if Li Lei was still in her heart? He had already left an indelible impression in her life. Even without any connection by blood, or a registered relationship, she was already living his legacy.
They were bound by an intangible and imperishable connection.
