BATTLEFIELD

A sudden jolt of electricity, a surge of something thick and foreign. Images flicker: a beating heart, the press of lungs, the feel of unfamiliar limbs. Panic clawed as Jennie breathed in the murky air. Sight returned only to be engulfed by darkness. The universe was not yet done with Jennie. Weakly, she struggled to raise her hand pushing the hinderances in her way and managed to stick her hand out.

"There's someone alive!" a voice shouted

"Remove those corpses above him,"

Little by little the corpses above Jennie were removed and she could see. She was met by a gruesome sight of blood, severed heads, torn limbs, spilled guts, heads with arrows sticking across them. Discarded weapons- swords glinting dully in the harsh sunlight, arrows like fallen pins bristling from the ground, shattered spears- lie amidst overturned shields and dented helmets, a testament to the desperation struggle. Birds emboldened by the absence of predators hop tentatively between the bodies, picking at the exposed flesh. Jennie looked up to the sky unable to fathom what the hell was going on.

"Who…who are you people?" She murmured weakly to the one who bore the struggle of carrying her weight.

"We are with General Liu Xian Feng," he said in a stoic voice. Jennie being the soldier she was, immediately started analyzing her situation. 'Looks like I transmigrated. No worries I'll have to look for ways to survive. Now to analyze my situation seems there was a fierce battle here and the number of survivors is close to none,' Closely she looked at the armor that was worn by her rescuers, 'By the looks of the armor it seems we're pledged to the same cause.' She reached her hand for her chest, 'Wait where are my boobs!' Immediately she blacked out from the shock.
