Chapter 6: Realization

Tell me Luke! Who is this person that you are in love with?!"

Keith was curious about what Lucas would reply to him, but he stood there without saying anything. He asked to him again by getting closer and holding onto his hands lovingly.

"Tell me Luke! Who is it?"

"I..I can't tell you who it is Keith? I don't want anyone else to know about my feelings for that person, It's personal!"

Lucas said to Keith nervously without looking into his eyes. He felt inappropriate about sharing his feelings for Kevin to someone else, especially to his own brother Keith.

"Why dude?! Is this someone I know?"

"Um..Uh..N..No-"

"Then! Why can't you tell me about this person that you like?!"

"I told you I don't want to! Anyway why you're this much eager to know about my love interest? Huh?!"

"Um..That's..".Keith didn't know what to reply. For a while, he stood there without saying anything.

At this moment Lucas thought, it was the perfect chance for him to escape from there, since he knew that if he would stayed there more longer, Keith won't let him leave until he gave him the answer. As he was about to walk away from there, Keith stopped him by making his voice a bit louder."Don't try to run away Luke, I'm not gonna let you go until you tell me who it is!"

"What a pain in the ass?!".Lucas said being annoyed.

"Tell me who-"

*Splash*

Lucas lost his patience and threw water on Keith from a glass kept on one of those elegantly decorated tables. Keith was totally soaked in water. He knew that Lucas was not in an intention to do it, but he did it because it was hard for him to control his anger, so he didn't take this matter seriously.

Being wet, Keith took off his coat, his muscular abdominals were standing out from his white shirt which got drenched in water. He was looking like the most sexiest human being in this whole universe to whom anyone would get aroused with lust desires.

Keith wiped the water dripping from his face, he took a tissue from the table, then went closer to Lucas for wiping off the little bit of water which had been splurted on his face when he threw the water over Keith. He wiped off the water gently from his face.

Lucas stood there without saying anything, while Keith gazed at him lovingly and asked."Fine, if you don't wanna tell me about this person! Atleast give me the answer for this question of mine!"

"What is it?"

"Are you in a relationship with this person?"

"Urghh...Why you wanna know that I'm in a relationship with him or not? Huh?!".Lucas said by rolling his eyes.

Keith looked at Lucas being surprised. At first, Lucas didn't understand that why Keith was looking at him like that, but then he understood what he had blurted out to him.

"Um..Keith..I think..someone's callin me..go..gotta go!".Lucas was about to run away from there but Keith blocked him from going, he pushed him away with his eyes closed and without looking back he ran away with a flustered expression on his face.

"LUKE!".Keith tried on stopping Lucas from running away, but he was without success.

After Lucas left, Keith stood there without any expression on his face, but then he suddenly grinned and said to himself "Even though, I dunno who is this person Luke is in love with, I atleast got a hint that it's a guy!"

Keith went upstairs to his room chuckling and talking to himself about Lucas, then changed his clothes which were all soaked in water. After changing his clothes, as he was coming downstairs Mrs Herbert called him."Keith, come here dear"

"Yes mother, comin".Stepping down quickly, he went to Mrs Herbert, then said "WoW mother, you're lookin really pretty today!"

"Really! Thank you dear".Mrs Herbert hugged him affectionately by saying this.

"Anyways mother, why you called me here?"

"Oh I wanted to show you someone!"

"Show me someone? Who's it?"

"It's Lucas, your childhood buddy dear, it's been two years since you buddies met each other, isn't it?".By saying this she smiled brightly.

"Lucas, why have you turned to your back dear?".Mrs Herbert patted on Lucas's shoulder.

Lucas turned over with regret. He lied to Mrs Herbert that he didn't meet Keith in the party. On hearing this, Mrs Herbert felt extremely sad and wanted the two inseperable friends to meet each other, so without knowing about their intercourse from before, she called Keith to meet him.

Lucas smiled hesitantly and Keith on the other hand grinned widely by looking at him, it was like a lion caught his prey.

"Uhm..I think, I have to go now, there would be a lot for both of you to talk about, have fun dears!".Mrs Herbert left by leaving them alone.

As Mrs Herbert left, Lucas tried to sneak away from Keith, but unfortunately, Keith held his hand and stopped him.

"Where're you goin, huh?!".Keith asked by looking straight into Lucas's eyes.

"Uhm..Ahem..I was goin to the bar..uhm..for the..for the wine!".Lucas blabbered.

"Well, you don't have to go there, I'll call the waiter, he'll bring you the wine".Keith smirked.

"Oh thanks for your consideration, but I can't fit in with only one glass, y'know?".He gave Keith a smug smile.

"Don't worry, I'll tell them to bring you a whole bottle of wine"

"What?!..no..no need..haha..I was just kiddin, y'know! I only want one glass of wine, that's it"

"Huh! But why Luke? Will you pass out?!".Keith giggled.

"No..it's not tha-"

"If you'll pass out, no worries, I'll carry you to your car and drop you to your mansion"

"What?! Cut the crap, Keith".Lucas angrily pouted.

Keith controlled his laughter, then ordered to one of the waiters to bring him a glass of wine.

"Don't you want Keith?".Lucas asked.

"Oh no, I don't"

After a while, the waiter brought the wine, Lucas took the glass and slowly started sipping it.

Keith gazed at him drinking, with allure in his inside for Lucas, the way he sipped the wine with his rose-tinted lips and the way he slowly gulped it, it all made him to have carnal thoughts about Lucas.

Without thinking once, Keith snatched the glass from Lucas's hand.

"What're you doin Keith?".Lucas asked him, being startled.

"Uhm, I also wanna drink!"

"But you said you don't wanna drink before?"

"Uh..That was before, but now I wanna drink"

"Why don't you order one for yourself, it's way more better than drinkin from the glass I drank!"

"Oh, no need, I'm okay with it".Keith smiled widely, then he took a sip of the wine.

Lucas looked at Keith confusingly, while he was drinking the wine from the glass he drank. "Y'know what Keith, you've really changed!"

Keith stopped drinking the wine and asked."Why you say so?!"

"Because, when we were young you always annoyed me and made me mad, and plus you didn't even apologize to me and still I forgave you for all those nasty things you did, but..."

"But?"

"But, now, when we're grown up, you still do those nasty things, but you do apologize to me, before I even get mad at you!"

Keith got smiled on hearing to what Lucas said. "Maybe I've changed because of this person whom I'm in love with"

"Really! That's great!"

"Don't you wanna know who this person is Luke?"

"No, I don't, but I hope this person to be with you forever".Lucas smiled assuringly.

"I hope so too".Keith looked at Lucas with extreme fondness. He went closer to Lucas, then slowly he put his around his waist and hugged him tightly. Lucas hugged him back, then patting on his shoulder asked "Why a sudden hug? Is it because I said such nice words?!"

Keith didn't know what to reply to him, so he just nodded.

After a while, Keith released themselves from the hug and combed his short and soft black hair with his fingers adoringly and said "Y'know what Luke, I really love dreaming!"

"Why though?"

"It's because..in my dreams you are actually mine"

Lucas stood confused and startled of not getting an idea about, why he said such things to him out of nowhere.

Keith left from there, Lucas watched him going without saying a single word. As Keith walked, his eyes were filled with tears, but he controlled himself, it were the tears of realization, the 'realization' that he could only call Lucas as 'mine' in his dreams.

Even though, Keith realized that Lucas's heart belonged to someone else and there were no chances for Lucas to fall for him, he still didn't want to lose hope.

"As Vladimir Nabokov once quoted 'It was love at first sight, at last sight, at ever and ever sight' I'll love you forever Luke..and I hope that one day you'll also love me like I do!"
