"Don't you want to choose too? We can choose it together." Airyn asked slowly, but dared not stare at the figure beside her.
"These are my options. Now just choose one pair." Zavier replied. Hearing that, the shopkeepers were startled. Never mind talking with his family, he never talked to other people all this time. He likely talked at length while he was angry.
"Ah, well ... I'll choose then." Airyn replied in the end.
"Please take your choice," said the female shopkeeper to her.
"I like this one," Airyn replied, holding a pair of wedding outfits in the middle.
"Well then, please try them first," said the shopkeeper to both of them. Finally, Zavier and Airyn separately tried on their wedding outfits in the dressing room.
Once Airyn tried on her clothes, she came out of the dressing room and found Zavier was fastening his cuff button.
"I—it's done." Airyn said, lowering her head. Unexpectedly, Zavier looked up and glanced at his future wife. Zavier was stunned for a moment before finally he made a sound.
"Do you like it?" Zavier stared at her while their eyes met each other.
"Y—yes," Airyn replied quietly. Zavier swiftly looked at the shopkeeper beside him, and the shopkeeper instantly understood his intention.
Once they changed their clothes, Airyn and Zavier came out of the dressing room at the same time. Afterwards, Zavier left the boutique and got into his car, while Airyn was following him behind. Returning from the boutique, Zavier intended to send her home. On the way to her house, they were quiet.
"T—thank you," Airyn said to him.
"...." As there was no response, Airyn decided to get out of the car. But when she was about to leave, Zavier abruptly held her hand.
"Tomorrow, at 3 o'clock at that same place," said Zavier with his lingering cold gaze.
"Ah, o—okay then." Airyn replied timidly. Hearing that, only then did Zavier release her hand.
"I—I'll go now... take care." Airyn said and then really got off from the car and rushed into her house. Meanwhile, Zavier slightly twitched his lips. Soon, he started the car engine and driving his car home.
Once Airyn stepped into her house, she found her mother about to come down from the upstair. Her cold gaze always made Airyn always looked down when she saw her mother.
"Is it done?" Caroline asked aloofly to her eldest daughter.
"Yes, I'll go upstair then," Airyn responded and hurried up to her room in the upstair.
Inside her room, she usually spent her time summarizing the subject matter for tomorrow class and sometimes often read novels. At this time, once she changed her clothes and summarized the Mathematics subject for tomorrow, Auntie Mina knocked on her door.
"Hello, Miss. Please have your dinner first...." Auntie Mina called from outside the room.
"Yes, Auntie. I'll go downstair." Airyn responded and quickly cleared all her things on the table and hurried downstairs for dinner.
"I'm sorry. You all must've been waiting for so long." Airyn said to all the maidservants who were waiting for her in Auntie Mina's room.
"Ah, no problem. We're just preparing," replied a maidservant next to Auntie Mina, called Auntie Rani.
"Well, then. Let's just eat now. I'm afraid madam will call us over," said Auntie Mina, followed by everyone's nod, including Airyn. Afterall, you must be wondering, so I will make it clear for you. All this time, Airyn has never enjoyed her meal with her parents, not even her only sister. She always spent her meal time with her maidservants. She never felt uneasy at all, instead she felt comfortable spending her time with those who cared for her. Like Auntie Mina, Auntie Rani, Auntie Mona, and Auntie Tati.
After dinner, she went back to her room preparing for her tomorrow subjects and then cleaned herself up before finally went to sleep.
'Airyn POV.
After the bell rang and it was time to go home from school today, I went straight to the convenience store to meet Zavier as he said yesterday. And sure enough, when I got near the convenience store, I saw a black lamborgini parked nearby.
"Sorry," I said, knocking the windshield.
"Get in," Zavier responded that I can hear from outside. I immediately opened the door and got into it.
"Today, what are we going to do?" I asked him without turning to him.
"Ring," he replied simply. I nodded for a moment and then he drove his car to the jewelery shop.
In front of a jewelery or likely diamond shop, Zavier pulled his car over. Without waiting too long, he abruptly got out and I certainly followed him.
"Good afternoon, Young Master and Young Lady," said the shopkeeper who again addressed me that way.
"Good afternoon." I replied her with a friendly smile.
"Please kindly choose between the three options," said Zavier who again asked me to choose one.
"I think I like that one." I replied softly, pointing at a pair of rings with a simple model that made me feel pleased when I saw them.
"Perfect choice." Zavier muttered to the point that I still could hear him. What's wrong? Why did he comment on my choice this time?
"T—thank you." I said afterward, which made Zavier look straight at me. Soon, he turned to the shopkeeper and just walked away, leaving me with mixed up feeling there. Once I was cognizant from my bewilderment, I immediately caught up with him and got into the car.
Soon, Zavier started the car to drive me home. Arriving at home, I thanked him and abruptly got out of the car and went into the house.
Author POV.
This day, Friday morning to be precise… Airyn and her family were getting ready to go out. They prepared for Airyn's wedding on Saturday in Bandung. It was really sudden, wasn't it?
"Miss Airyn, hopefully your wedding will run well...," said Auntie Rani to Airyn who was currently in the room.
"Yeah, Auntie. I hope so." Airyn said half-heartedly.
"Please don't be so low-spirited. You should be happy for the wedding tomorrow...," said Auntie Rani again to encourage her.
"Yes, Miss. Please don't lose heart... I believe that Young Master Zavier can definitely make you happy." Auntie Mina chimed in, while stroking Airyn's back gently.
"Thank you, Auntie. I hope so." Airyn said, trying to give her sweet smile to them.
"Airyn! Auntie Mina! What are you guys doing?! Hurry up, we'll go now." Caroline called out from outside the room.
"Ah, let's go downstairs. Rani, I'll leave the house to you, okay?" Auntie Mina said to Auntie Rani.
