Story of an old man

One time I was facing 10 goblins, all were 3 levels below me. At the time I was only level 13 and was heavily wounded after facing a demon, a superior imp. They thought that I was easy prey, but they were wrong, a wounded lion is still a lion.

We fought till exhaustion and I only came out alive because of my many resistances at the time and my newly gained 'combat instinct', which I purchased for what I, at the time, considered a large sum. Don't remember what it was though.

Later I was forcefully put in the hospital. I was barely conscious at the time. That was the first time I faced such a difficult fight and the only thing keeping me conscious was the euphoric happiness I experienced after winning a fight.

That when I understood how wonderful it is to conquer something forth conquering.

Later I was stuck in the hospital for 3 month, recovering, thanks to that I got 'regeneration', though after I was recharged, I was told to have it easy and I did so.

*Sigh* But after that, when I was told to go back to the military, I didn't want to.

That's the second lesson - for men, rest is quite dangerous.

I remember one time Casandra forced me to learn Ballet and when I showed up to class, there were 3 guys, counting me in and we were all forced into this by our girlfriends, so after that class, we went on 'The Great Pub Hike'.
