The end?

Calista was in shock. She did not expect it to be this simple. Even though she didn't do anything yet, but here they are already ending this drama/so called blind date or whatever it was.

Even though she was shocked she felt relieved. She doesn't have to worry about the whole work experience becoming awkward, Joanna could still find someone for her by herself and she need not have to worry about this blind date at all.

Calista nodded in response to what Isac had just said. She smiled a little and got up. Isac got up too. He stood tall towering her. Calista took a step back and said "I am not sure how I should put this... But I work in your company in the management department and I hope that this little episode does not make things funny and awkward between us" She stretched her hand for a handshake while she spoke.

Isac looked at her hand and then her face. After few seconds of letting her hand hang in the air he took it. "Well you see I am aware that you work here. And yes you don't have to worry about the second part." He spoke as he shook hands with her and left.

Calista stood there for some time. Did he actually imply that they were not going to meet anyways so that she didn't have to worry about meeting each other and making things awkward?!

Pretty much that Calista was just over thinking the last bit. He did not mean it that way, but if that's what she thinks it is then it can't be helped.

Isac drove back to the office to complete other work. He was such a workaholic. He can't stay away from work at all. And he works so much ahead of time. He likes to be prepared for the future. Isac was completely lost in his work that, what had just happened that evening did not bother hume, not even the slightest.

Calista let out a deep sigh and went back home. She was done for the day so she grabbed a taxi and headed home. For some reason she felt extremely relaxed as if a heavy burden was lifted off of her shoulder. But she realised that this feeling was temporary. She still needs to work hard and bring up her family status financially.
