Responsibility

Michael was pretty quick to get back. He returned by the time Isac was done washing his sheet.

"I didn't know what to get so I asked one the store employees to get the best thing, so I think it should be alright" He spoke as he handed over a bag to Calista.

"I - I can't thank you enough but at the same time I feel bad for making you do all of this.. I'm truly sorry. "

" You really don't have to worry about this you know. . . We just want you to take rest, and get your mind off of few things.. " Michael told her trying not to speak about what happened to her.

Calista had no choice but to nod her head in response.. She left the place to get changed and deal with her cycle.

Isac was done washing and turned to look at Michael who was watching him intently.

" If you have the time to watch me do some chores, you might as well get some work done"

" I.. just want to know why you are doing all of this.. I get that she's hurt and I too feel extremely bad for it but.. you"... Michael got cut off

" I somehow feel like I'm responsible for this.. even if I'm not involved directly.. as a superior I should've made sure that everyone was safe around the workplace.. I was not thorough with the surroundings and something like this had happened near our office and I should be responsible.. Also I don't mind doing all these chores after all I've done them all the time, don't worry about anything Michael.. let's get to work. "
