Rejection!

"Why are you rushing? You are definitely busy then why are you bothered about this?.Well it is also that we are not going to get married so why bother meeting up in person?". Please let me have some rest! This is already too much for me! Calista thought.

"I don't want to get married!" I screamed and hung up on him. Really i didn't want to get married to anyone let alone marry him. I slumped back sliding down the tall pillar, I had no strength to even get up. But I had to work! I had to work so that i'll be paid.

She walked looking dead, scaring her co-workers along the way. It looked like her spirit was leaving her body. She dragged her feet back to her work area.

On the other hand Isac just heard a loud scream and the line went dead. After the line went dead he stared at his phone for a while. He was brought back when someone greeted him. Yes he needs to focus on this meeting. He pushed all other thoughts to the back of his mind and continued with his meeting.

This is crazy! How did I end up going on a blind date with Isac who also happened to be my CEO! What on earth!. Calista was drained of her energy but she just couldn't stop thinking about how she actually met her boss on a blind date!.

(The day before the 'blind date')

The company was in a buzz. Everyone was doing one or the other thing. They were all busy. Some where working on their computers, some were busy preparing some thing while the others were cleaning up their desks.

They were all working on a weekend and everyone was low on spirits but still they turned up because they were inviting their new CEO. They were asked to come to the company so that they all got to meet their new CEO.

Calista was also there. She was typing something onto her computer when suddenly her phone chimed. Then suddenly her phone started ringing, she saw the name that was displayed and she was delighted. She immediately answered the phone.

"Hello! Hey are you free today? I have something important to tell you!" The person on the other end of the phone said.

"Yeah sure. What is it?" She asked.

"Uh no i have to tell you this in person. Can we meet up for lunch today?" That person asked.

"Yeah sure! Just text me where to go and I'll be there!" Calista was more than happy to meet up! All she had to do was to leave the company right now before the new CEO arrives!
