(Lina)
As soon as Kieran walked out the door, I let out a little squeal and flopped onto my bed, my heart racing. I couldn't believe how amazing it felt to be with him.
I continued to think about our kiss and the way he looked at me. I pressed my face into the pillows, feeling giddy and lightheaded. But I couldn't celebrate for long; I had to get ready for our date.
I jumped up and rushed to my closet, tossing clothes aside as I searched for something to wear. After trying on a couple of outfits, I settled on a simple, flowing dress that hugged my curves just right. I thought about how Kieran made me feel—safe, cherished, and desired. I wanted to look nice to him.
I stepped into the bathroom, brushing my hair and touching up my makeup. I was just about to put on my dress when I heard a loud crash at my door. My heart skipped a beat as I recognized the voice.
Nicholas.
"Isabella! Open up!" He shouted, his tone demanding.
