"Old Walter, thank you for the invitation, and I hope you love my presence" Mr Smith said, looking around the table to catch a glimpse of Lim who was sitting opposite him. He smiled when he saw Lim's attention wasn't on anyone but on the girl sitting beside him.

"Of course, I'd be Mr Smith. I have gotten a lot of presents for friends and families who I don't know what to do with them yet" Old Walter said happily. " But, let me, use this opportunity to invite you to my son's marriage, which will happen soon."

" Lim is getting married?" Mr Smith exclaimed surprisingly, that drew Steve's attention to Lim. He was shocked to the bone of the revelation he saw right in front of him!

The girl he had been looking for was the same girl sitting beside Lim? But why? How come? Steve was speechless! He didn't know what to do or say! He tried to speak but only came out as a whisper.

"Rosary?"

Lim noticed a gaze at him and stopped what he was doing under the table with Rosary's thighs , making Rosary compose herself well before her eyes fell on Steve. He stared at her like he had seen a ghost. Isn't this Rosary or someone else?

"So, who is the darling that caught the eyes of Lim?" Mr Smith asked. He wanted to congratulate the boy and that way, he might get the chance to collaborate with him.

"Here she is, Mr Smith" Lim said strongly as his expression darkened. He raised Rosary's hand and placed a sweet kiss on her palm, eyeing Steve's hand to see his reaction. Rosary was thoughtless and clueless, she didn't know what to do or what to say, and how to explain to Steve that this wasn't part of her plan. She had never wanted any of this, she just prayed that Steve hadn't had the wrong intention."She is going to be the mother of my children and no one else" he said and, spare a look at Rose , who grinned, fake to pretend she was in a thing with Lim, while inside she was dying. This wasn't what she wanted, not in front of Steve. Looking at the eyes of Steve, she could see he was hurt and confused. But she was also confused too?

"Wow, Lim, I must've seen so many pretty girls in town but I have never seen anyone as beautiful as your bride" Mr Smith complimented, to gain favour from the boy later. He knew one way to please the Don, is comment and  praised him..

"Yes, I must say, she is indeed beautiful and stunning. My son does have good eyes!" Old Walter said, and others laughed along with him..

Steve was still trying to process what was happening, he just didn't understand a thing! How did Rose end up being the fiancee of Lim? From what he had remembered, Rosary had never seen interest in Lim or wanted anything to do with him! So what marriage are they talking about?and what the hell is going on! 

Just when he was trying to get out of his shock, another unexpected topic was dropped in.

"I can't believe it, my two boys are getting married soon. Lim is getting married to Rose while Charles is getting married to Lilah, the daughter of Mr Williams, here!" Mrs Walker said, and had Steve to turn to his left-hand side.

"Charles is getting married to who again?" Steve finally asked with a disappointed look on his face.

"To Mr Williams' daughter, of course", Aunty B replied.The two guys Steve hated were getting married to the women he once fell in love with. One his past love and the other, his presence love. Why does life always be unfair to him! 

His endless search was in vain when he found out that the lady( Rose) he had been searching for was getting married. To make matters worse, she was getting married to his enemy(Lim Walter) of all people.

Steve heaved a deep breath to calm down his nerves and rage.  He had to stay clam and find out what really happened in the hotel. Why is Rosary with Lim of all people and planning to get married soon! He must find out the truth of what Lim have done to Rosary!  If he reacts now, he would be in suspicious. Meanwhile, Tiana kept slient, dying inside of her. She just can't wait to get the hell out of this suffocating place!

"This is your son?" Old Walter asked, gazing at the young confused man beside Mr Smith.

"Yes, he is my son. Steve Smith. He was the one running the Smith company. I would like it if the smiths and Walter joined hands in business", Mr Smith explained.

" What a smart rat Mr Smith is becoming, Trying to win Walter's favor in this way? That's a risky way," Mr Williams muttered, but no one heard him.

Rosary was speechless, she didn't know what to say or do, the expression on Steve's face was more worried for Rosary. What would she do to get a chance to explain to Steve that she never wanted this?

"Don't you think this couple are adorable?" Aunty B said, smiling cheek to cheek at the two couples on the table. Meanwhile, Lilah and Rosary could speak out their feelings and only smile fakely to the faces of everyone at the table.

The rest of the party went well, as Lim and Charles never stopped to show their affection for Rose and Lilah, proving them to be great.

The party ended in a peaceful way and all returned to their different homes but some with heavy hearts. Lim and Rose stayed behind. Because old Walter had insisted that they spend the night here since the clouds were covered by dark clouds.

Lim never agreed to this. He saw this as an opportunity for old Walter to talk to him which he had never wanted.

When Old Walter noticed the boy wasn't ready to abide by his words, he shifted to the girl. He believed Rose wouldn't be able to refuse him.

"What do you think, my dear? Won't it be better if you spent the night here instead of going back home in the middle of the night?" Old Walter asked, sounding a bit worried in his voice for the girl to pity him.

"Hmm, I think that is great!" Rosa said quickly without minding the consequences that came after. She just wants some space away from the devil. The hall which was used for old Walter's birthday party wasn't far from his estate.

"You see, the girl wants to visit her future father-in-law's house" Old Walter said, mocking at Lim, whose expression still remained the same even though the party had ended.

Lim rolled his eyes frustratedly, he knew what the girl was trying to do, his eyes had been on her since the party. Now, she had known the truth about Lilah and Steve's true identity, she was longing to ask them privately if only she would have gotten the chance to speak to them..

Since she hasn't the chance, she is separating herself from him, but too bad there is no where to hide. The Don X always has his ways whenever he wants!

"Alright, we'll spend the night in your old stinking house" Lim mumbled. Old Walter rolled his eyes, his son would never change. He just hoped this girl changed Lim's heart. Since lim6 had proclaimed to marry her, considering her background and how they both met. Makes Old Walter have a bit trust in their relationship that things would works out between them.

The second wish the old Walter had wished for was for Lim to have a life partner that would love and cherish him and also bear the heir to the Walter group.

Old Walter smiled at the answer of Lim. He wasn't expecting that would work easily. If Lim can change his mind because of this girl, that means what he had was real. Old Walter smiled widened and signaled his hand to some of his men.

Suddenly, a man in black walked up to Rose and bowed.

"Young miss, can you follow me to the car?" The man in black asked in a royal way.

Lim creased his eyebrows up at the man in question. What does he mean by following him to the car when he is there?

"What car?" Rose asked, curiously, not understanding what the main black meant.

"...."

"She is not going anywhere. And the only thing she would do is mine", Lim said coldly, sending shivers down to the man's body. Immediately, the man nodded in fear. "Sure...sure young master."

Lim clenched Rose's waist, and drew her closer to himself. " My woman stayed with me"

Old Walter scoffed, " Okay, you don't have to worry about the car. My daughter-in-law will stay with her husband" Old Walter said, and departed to his car. While smiling along, Lim thought he was smart, but with this girl, he could get closer to him and the grudge between them would be broken.
