Dylan's mind was filled with so many thoughts as he observed the girl, her sudden interest in the marriage proposal was surprising. That was why he refused to let her sign, he didn't want to force her into a marriage with him, he would still give her a week to think about it, as promised. 

But he still needed her help tonight to fool his father, the old man wouldn't believe unless he showed proof and that was why he prepared a fake contract that he would show his father today. 

It's only been like thirty minutes and he could already feel his body going rigid, her closeness was something that his body reacted to. Even though he had promised not to touch her without her consent, Dylan still found it really hard to put himself under control.
