CHAPTER THIRTY

Adeline woke up to the sound of someone's phone buzzing, she opened her eyes and scanned the room. Her eyes were still half closed but she managed to adjust to the rooms lighting.

Adeline took a few seconds to register what happened, she noticed that the room looked different. She tried to reach her hand out so she could sit up but then she felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around her waist.

Adeline swallowed the lump in her throat as her heart started racing, she didn't bother to look behind her, she could already feel his breath on her nape and it caused her skin to crawl. She could smell that cool ocean scent, something that she had gotten accustomed to to these past few days.

Adeline now realized that she was being spooned by him, she tried to look behind her so she could get a glance of his face but then...
