as a joke

The village head asked, " They would be hungry and a little tried but they have numbers and we are too tired to fight."

I happily answered, "That won't be a problem, we already got food supplies that would refill your stamina in no time."

The village head in excitement asked, "What is it!"

I finally began to see the hope in the eyes of the people

As for the food supply I already actually knew the answer all along as the system said, all I had to do is ask for the recipe

"I know an recipe of an dish which can be made from the things you killed to protect the village so we got plenty of supply and a little time to make it, eat it, and get ready before the battle." I said

"What is the recipe Kenji? I'll gather the people who can cook and start the work." said Emma with a smile

"It's the combination of Scorpion meat, skin of the dry crocodile heated by the fire made by burning the remains of salamander, it's sounds weird but there are some more things to add which will make it delicious, wait I'll write the whole recipe." I said and wrote the recipe.

As soon as Emma got the recipe she went and started cooking with few others

Now that the food is being made, the people who are gonna fight have nothing to do till the food is ready so I tried to motivate them in my own way by telling them that if they defeat the enemies, they will be cool and some girl might propose them, I told them this as a joke, but seeing them get even more motivated by it I don't think it's a joke anymore, they are gonna give their all in this fight just for a chance of getting a girlfriend.

the food was ready and everyone ate well, I told them not to get full since it might be hard to fight with full stomach to they ate in limit. and soon everyone's stamina was back. I tried the dish too, and it was delicious, it tasted kind of like chicken. Since the system told that the dish didn't had a name I thought or giving it a name. The dish will be called ' stamival ' from now on, and yes it's the mixture of the words stamina revival, I'm not good at giving names so I just combined them.

Everyone was full of energy and there was still a little time till the enemies arrived so it was time to move on to the next step which was setting traps.

I explained everything to villagers about the traps while eating so time won't be waste and now it was time to lay some traps for enemy to fall on.

1st trap would be the classic trap ' the pit ', we'll dig a hole and cover it with grass

2nd would be ambush, we'll make them think that we have less people while the othere are hidden on their places and as soon as the enemy is in the correct location Everyone will cone out of hiding and we'll surround the enemy.

3rd trap and last trap is a secret of now.

As everyone started planning and preparing for trap I finally sat down in peace without anything to worry about, just looking in the sky and thinking.

"Every since I got in this world it's been crazy, so much has happened in such a little time, back in my world all I used to do is sit at home watch anime and play games, dad and mom didn't actually cared since my big brother and small sister were already capable enough to take over the company, out of us three I was the bad at everything, I didn't had hood marks, never had any talents in anything.

I was good at making friends and co operating with people but dad said making friends ain't gonna bring money in the house, we were rich but still all they used to think about is money instead of family and here this village has nothing but still they strive to protect it. I really love this place, I still don't know what I wanna do in this world but for now atleast I wanna help these guys protect this village."

I went to Ray and asked to borrow any spare sword or something to fight.

with a smile on his face he gave me a bow and arrow and said, "With your personality and lack of fighting skill, have this now and arrow and fight from distance or you'll get yourself killed."

"Ayoo, I'm trying to help you guys and you here roasting me, I saved you from the scorpion, didn't I?." I said

"Yaa..., but your hunger took over your mind that time so that doesn't count." said Ray

"Hey!!" I said

there was a silence for a bit and then we both burst into tears from laughing.

"Kenji" said Ray

"Yaa Ray" I replied

"Thanks a lot for helping." said ray

"Don't mind." I replied with a smile on my face

So, I was able to help someone.

As the traps were laid and the time came, we were all at our positions waiting for the army to come.

"I'm really nervous, Do you think we'll win?" asked Emma

even tho I just had met her like last night but I never thought I see her this nervous, but at the end she is just normal person too.

"Don't worry Emma everything will be fine, believe in me." I said.

"if you say so." said Emma while still being a bit nervous but with a smile.

it was finally time, the enemy was in our vision and our traps were in place, now the real battle begins between humans and the lizardmens and for some reason despite being human I was with lizardmens supporting them. well I guess it was my fate to fight alongside lizardmens.
