"What time is it? How long have I've been playing game? After giving up on studies and life itself all I've been doing is playing games and watching shows while being boxed up in my room, what a awful way to live. but ... what can I do? I can't do anything can I?

waaaah~ I'm feeling tired, my eyes are getting heavier, this is what happens after pulling an all nighter to play newly released game. Isn't this game too detailed about the world, plus it's difficulty is high as well. It's almost like...a real world."

I heard a faint female voice, it was like she was directed speaking in my head

"Yaa I got it! You don't have to say it again!!" I yelled

"So I died... I bet those parents of mine will be happy that I finally died, I was being a dead weight for them after all, and as they dead my younger brother was more important them cause he was more successful. So now what, I'll go to afterlife or something."

I wasn't going to afterlife at all. I opened my eyes to see that I'm standing in middle of a huge desert with a holographic screen in front of me and text written on it.

After playing so many games and watching so many shows I was starting to understand what was happening to me.

"So instead of going in an afterlife, I'm in another world."

As I was in the middle of a desert I had no way to get information about which time period is this world in or which type of people live in these era. Having nothing to do I started walking in a random direction hoping to reach somewhere eventually, and that didn't worked out as planned.

after walking a bit I was pretty confident that I will reach a town or something soon but after walking for 3 whole days I was tired, lost, thirsty, annoyed and lonely.

It was my 3rd night in this world, instead of resting in the night I was walking just so I could reach somewhere soon and I realized that walking all this time I didn't ate a single thing or drink anything, I started thinking about tasty food and cold drinks which to be honest made the situation worse. As I went on walking while dreaming about food I saw a light as if someone has lit an fire and I saw an animal in a distance I only had ever seen in the game 'the desert scorpion', it was bigger than me but with all the food in my mind the only thought that came to me was to find a way to kill it and cook it.

I went near it with rather questionable intentions clearly written on my face, but suddenly was shocked by seeing the light was saw was actually from some people who were being attacked by that scorpion and that light was actually a fire they lit. They clearly weren't strong enough to fight the scorpion as they were shaking from fear so I jumped in between them and the scorpion, this was my hero moment, my time to shine. what dialog should I use

Don't be afraid, I am here!

Just leave everything to me!

I will save you!

by the way now that I am infront of the scorpion, it looks quite big and scary, was it's tooth always this sharp? how would I know this is the first time seeing one in real life? wait why am I shaking too? am I afraid? definitely not, it maybe because I'm too hungry.

[ HUGE FEAR DETECTED ]

[ CALCULATING ALL POSSIBILITIES... NONE FOUND ]

( Is that soo... don't go joking around!!? I don't wanna die )

As I'm overwhelmed by my hunger I walk towards the scary scorpion which started to look delicious, every step I take I could see fearing starting to grow in the scorpions eye.

The scorpion put up a great fight but it was no match for my hunger.

And as I killed him, for some reason I could feel that he was happy to finally get out of the hot and cruel hot desert...

and then I proceed to eat it.

So now that the food problem is over I turn over to ask the people who I just save

" can I use your fire to cook-"

Now that I was looking at them I realized I never actually saw if they were human or not, because they definitely were not human.

"Umm.. who are you?" I ask as Politely as I could

"I'm Ray and this is Emma." The guy replied

I was hoping to actually know their species rather than their name but I was too much of an introvert to actually ask about that now.

so this is how I introduced myself

"I'm Kenji and I'm a human."

"Oh sorry, were we supposed to tell our race too?" Ray said

"Of course he want to know our race, he is a human, what else do they know then discriminating." said Emma out of the blue

"Don't be so rude Emma, this scary scorpion eater I mean Kenji just saved us." Said Ray trying to calm Emma down.

"ignoring the fact that you just called me scary scorpion eater which maybe a little truth, but I came from a far away land and don't know anything about this place so I wanted to collect some information, was it rude to ask your race?"

I asked them

"So you have come from far away, that would make sense why you didn't knew about races, you scary scorpion eater human."

said Emma rudely

"Don't listen to Emma, she is a bit sceptical about humans, so about our race, we are lizardmens."

Said Ray Politely

Seeing how big and bulky Ray was and How small and adorable Emma looked their personality didn't suit them at all but they were both good people that's for sure.

I was able to meet someone after like 3 days in this world and they happen to be lizardmen, that means there are non human intelligent species in this world, I would continue to collect information for now.
