Chapter 58: New Teacher

Over the course of a few days, Team 7 completed numerous tasks, with Boruto taking on a significant portion using his Shadow Clone technique. This, in turn, caused Naruto to be inundated with paperwork, as each completed mission required a report.

Boruto, motivated by the prospect of earning more money, had single-handedly completed at least 125 D-rank missions. These missions were easier and didn't require him to leave the village, an aspect he preferred given the uncertainty of potential future enemies.

Sarada and Mitsuki could only sigh as they watched Boruto insistently take on more D-rank missions.

"Are you really planning on finishing all the D-rank missions that have been issued?" Sarada asked, her voice laced with disbelief.

"Yes, they're easy. Plus, I don't really want to be stuck guarding people. That's unbearable. And I'm not ready to leave the village yet," Boruto explained, his reasons clear.

Mitsuki, glancing at the paper Boruto was holding, asked, "Are you going to search for the old man?"

"I guess," Boruto responded noncommittally.

Suddenly, an old man in a specialized wheelchair reached out to grab the paper in Boruto's hand. However, Boruto quickly raised his hand out of reach.

"What are—, Onoki-san?" Boruto recognized the man.

"Eh, Onoki-san?" Sarada echoed in surprise. "Aren't you supposed to be at the Kage Summit?"

"I didn't feel like going," Onoki replied nonchalantly.

Boruto's eyes lit up at the opportunity. "So, you're free then?" he asked eagerly.

Sarada and Mitsuki sighed upon seeing Boruto's excitement.

"Why do you ask?" Onoki inquired, curious about Boruto's intentions.

"Could I see your Particle Jutsu?" Boruto blurted out, unable to contain his enthusiasm.

"Oi, Boruto," Sarada interjected, trying to reprimand him.

"I'll do anything. I just want to see it in person," Boruto insisted.

"If that's the case, can you show me around the village? In return, I'll show you the Jutsu," Onoki proposed.

"Alright, let's go, Ossan!" Boruto agreed enthusiastically.

"Boruto, Onoki-san needs to attend the Kage Summit," Sarada reminded him.

"Nah, who cares about that boring meeting," Boruto dismissed.

"I like your spirit, kid. Let's go," Onoki agreed, much to Boruto's delight.

Boruto pushed Onoki's wheelchair, leaving Sarada and Mitsuki behind.

"Sarada, you should loosen up a bit," Mitsuki advised as he followed after Boruto. "I'm going too."

Sarada let out another sigh and reluctantly followed them.

Meeting Room, Hokage Building

Inside the room, all the Kages and retired leaders except Tsunade gathered to discuss the Otsutsuki threat.

"What about Boruto?" Gaara inquired, curious about his role in the situation.

"He should be here. He managed to defeat an Otsutsuki with just one punch," Darui informed the group.

"We should ask Boruto to teach us how to use that Dark Chakra," Kurotsuchi suggested.

"I wouldn't recommend it. It's incredibly difficult to control, and if you lose control, you age rapidly," Naruto cautioned.

"How do you know this?" Chojuro asked, intrigued by Naruto's knowledge.

"I've encountered a user of Dark Chakra in battle before. Sasuke and I were able to defeat them by disrupting their tenketsu," Naruto explained.

"So, if the Otsutsuki find out about this information, Boruto could be in danger. They might try to do the same to him," Gaara analyzed the situation.

"I don't think so. Boruto is using the same source but with a different method. I believe he has perfected it," Naruto reassured the group.

Kakashi, Mei, and A sat together on a couch, their expressions filled with concern. Kakashi let out a sigh, clearly troubled. "That kid..."

Mei, noticing Kakashi's distress, asked, "Is there something wrong with Boruto?"

Kakashi shook his head. "No, he's physically fine. It's his well-being that worries me."

A, intrigued by Kakashi's statement, chimed in, "But isn't Naruto's son incredibly strong? He's already at Kage level at such a young age."

Kakashi paused for a moment, contemplating his response. "Yes, that's true. But sometimes, my instincts tell me that there's more to it than just his strength."

Empty Training Ground,

Boruto gazed at the diamond tattoo on his palm for a few moments before placing his hand on Onoki's back, initiating a healing technique.

Onoki felt an immense relief from his pain and realized that he could walk without any fatigue. With newfound strength, he took a few steps, testing his legs.

Curious about the medical jutsu Boruto had used, Onoki asked, "What kind of medical jutsu was that?"

Boruto replied with a hint of excitement, "It's a special one. But can I see your Particle Jutsu?"

"Please wait a moment. I know you're eager," Onoki responded as he levitated in the air.

As soon as Onoki began floating, Boruto activated his Sharingan, keen to observe the mechanics of the flying jutsu.

Boruto's initial confusion quickly turned into understanding as he grasped the mechanics of Onoki's jutsu. With a swift motion, he deactivated his Sharingan, no longer needing it to comprehend what was happening.

"Get ready, Boruto. Don't miss this," Onoki warned, forming a three-dimensional cube between his palms.

Boruto focused intently, his gaze fixed on the cube. Mitsuki and Sarada couldn't believe their eyes, witnessing this incredible display of power.

Onoki unleashed the particle style, directing it towards the ground. However, his astonishment grew as Boruto suddenly appeared next to the targeted location, his hand positioned at the same level as his shoulder.

The devastating particle style obliterated Boruto's arms, leaving nothing in its wake. A cry of pain escaped Boruto's lips. "Damn! That hurt!"

Onoki, Mitsuki, and Sarada were filled with worry, immediately rushing to Boruto's aid and preparing to take him to the hospital. But their movements came to a halt as Boruto's face broke into a mischievous smile. "Just kidding," he announced, his arms regenerating as if nothing had happened. "Hmm, my arms feel even stronger now."

Sarada, Mitsuki, and Onoki stood in awe, shocked by the miraculous regeneration of Boruto's arms.

The remarkable regeneration of Boruto's arms was a result of combining two types of Dark Chakra. Boruto had utilized the Reverse Curse Technique as a reference point, creating an even more advanced healing ability. As long as his brain and heart remained intact, Boruto could regenerate any lost body parts.

"Even Tsunade's healing abilities pale in comparison," Onoki commented in awe.

Boruto flexed his hand, testing its newfound strength. "Nice," he remarked with satisfaction.

Meanwhile, thoughts raced through Boruto's mind. 'It's going to take time if I want to master the Particle Style. I need to become proficient in fire, earth, and wind techniques. I've already mastered wind, but acquiring the other elemental natures will require dedication. Just like lightning, which I only learned a few days ago.'

Curiosity piqued, Onoki inquired about the mysterious jutsu. "What kind of jutsu is that?"

"It's something I've developed over the past few years," Boruto replied.

Sarada let out a sigh. "Does he ever give a straightforward answer?" she muttered.

Mitsuki chimed in, "He says that to divert attention from others who might ask."

Onoki floated down to Boruto's eye level, closing the distance between them. "Did Tsunade teach you that?"

"Nah, she didn't teach me. I learned my medical jutsu from Sakura-sensei," Boruto clarified. "But I have a proposition for you, Onoki-san."

Curiosity piqued, Onoki asked, "What is it?"

"I'll heal your body, but in return, I need you to train me in the Particle Style," Boruto proposed.

Without hesitation, Onoki firmly declined. "No," he stated as he floated away.

Boruto, determined to convince Onoki, played his trump card. "Even if I can make you younger," he added.

Onoki halted in his tracks, taken aback by the unexpected offer.

Seizing the opportunity, Boruto turned around and confidently stated, "Looks like I've got you."

Onoki turned back and asked, "Are you serious?"

"Yes, I can restore your body to its prime," Boruto affirmed.

Sarada and Mitsuki were left in shock by Boruto's bold claim.

'Even my father couldn't do something like that,' Mitsuki thought to himself, his astonishment evident.

"Is that even possible?" Sarada questioned, her disbelief clear in her voice.

In response, Boruto confidently stepped forward and approached Onoki, taking hold of him.

With a surge of Dark Chakra, Onoki's body began to undergo a transformation, visibly becoming younger as time passed. However, Boruto abruptly stopped the process, leaving Onoki resembling his appearance during the Fourth Shinobi War, but without the injuries he had sustained.

"What?!" Sarada exclaimed, unable to contain her surprise.

Mitsuki, still in awe, muttered under his breath, "How is this even possible?"

"Will you now accept me as your new student?" Boruto asked, his eyes filled with anticipation.

In that moment, Onoki saw a reflection of his deceased grandson, Kazuchi, in Boruto. Blinking away the vision, he finally agreed, "Sure, I will accept you as my student."

"Great! Let's get started. And please, take this with you," Boruto said, handing Onoki a small paper with a seal on it.

"What is this?" Onoki queried, examining the seal closely.

"It's a seal I can teleport to," Boruto explained. "So I can teleport to you when it's time for training."

Realization dawned on Onoki. 'Did he learn the Flying Raijin? That would explain it. He is the grandson of the Yellow Flash, after all,' he thought to himself.

"We can only start after I return to my village," Onoki informed Boruto.

"Sure, please take care of me, Onoki-sensei," Boruto responded with a respectful bow.
