Chapter 75: Young Prince

At the Cafeteria.

Ryan sat sulkily as he watched the little boy and Soo Min exchange sweet nothings, as they waited for their food to arrive.

Soo Min, unable to shake off the abandoned puppy auras emitting from Ryan, sighed and said, "Don't worry, my dear fiancé, I will not abandon you for a three-year old little boy. I'm afraid he's twenty-one years too young for me."

Upon hearing her words, Ryan felt a little bit better but also realized how much he had changed for her. He started becoming more and more childish, but he did not mind this change, because it was for the woman he loved.

Soon the pastries had arrived, but unlike any other child who would pounce on it, the little boy ate it in a poised and well-mannered way, surprising Soo Min.

What surprised Ryan and the little boy was when she bursted into laughter.

"What? What happened?" Ryan asked.

"Nothing, it's j—just the way he eats and acts, it reminds me—reminds me of you." Soo Min said, trying to contain her laughter.

The little boy and Ryan immediately looked at each other and harrumphed before looking the other way.

"See." Soo Min said, chuckling.

"Nicholas!" A man called out, amidst the somewhat crowded hospital, making the little boy snap his head in the direction of the voice.

Seeing his sudden gesture, Soo Min and Ryan too glanced in the same direction.

The man walked in large strides, that soon changed to running. The little boy, jumped down from his seat and stood there, nonchalantly.

The man crouched down, right in front of the little boy, before pulling him into a tight hug.

Soo Min and Ryan looked at each other, before looking back at the father-son duo.

"Thank goodness, do you know how worried I was?Don't ever do that again, okay?"

Ryan took a closer look at the man, who looked like he was in his late twenties, and then at the bodyguards stationed just a few feet from him.

There was no way he was mistaken, that man was the King of Eldora, Julian Augustus.

"Papa." Nicholas let out a muffled voice, stunning the King.

"W—What did you say?" His eyes widened before he pulled his son away slightly, and asked, "Can you say that again? Nicholas. Call me, that again!"

The little boy pursed his lips, and ran back to Soo Min, who gently picked him up and ruffled with hair again, playfully.

Almost instinctively, all the bodyguards pulled out their guns at Soo Min, who's eyes slightly widened but Ryan protectively stood in front of her.

"Your highness, I suggest you ask your men to put their weapons down, or they will have to answer to my men if they were as to even lay a finger on my woman."

With just a flick of a hand, all those bodyguards retreated their weapons, but maintained their positions with hostility.

"Please forgive me for their intrusion, it's just that my son doesn't usually get along so well with strangers, it's quite shocking for them as it is for me." Julian said as he gazed at the closeness between his son and Soo Min.

"Your highness?" Soo Min stated, surprised.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Julian Augustus, King of Eldora, and this is my son Nicholas Augustus. Thank you for looking after him, I'm glad he ran into a good person like you. I was honestly worried, when my house help told me he had gone missing." He said with gratitude.

"T—Then the person I'm holding here is a prince?" Soo Min asked, shocked.
