City Hospital.
After picking up the food from her favorite restaurant, Ryan decided he would speak to the doctor about Soo Min's discharge, as he knew the amount of times, she had begged him to let her leave this place and he too know how boring it was getting for her to stay put like that.
But first, he wanted to give her the food as it was quite late already. He was not even sure if she had already eaten, since he didn't inform her of his return beforehand.
He wanted to keep it as a surprise.
As he and Assistant Yoon made their way into the hospital lobby, Ryan heard a familiar voice. His eyes turned to the direction of one particular man standing by the reception desk.
"I'm looking for the patient Park Soo Min. Can you tell me what room she's in?" The man asked.
Upon hearing Soo Min's name, Ryan's intuition on the identity of the man grew stronger.
"Yes of course. I'll just need you to fill out this visitor form." The receptionist handed a clipboard and a pen to the man.
After taking a couple minutes to fill out the form, the man returned it to the receptionist.
"Thank you, sir. Miss Park is in room 1106." The receptionist informed.
Noah nodded his head and smiled in response, before walking towards the elevator lobby.
'Noah Chan. We meet again." Ryan smirked before heading in the same direction with his assistant.
…..
Elevator Lobby.
While waiting for the elevator, Noah decided to text Soo Min to inform he was here to see her. Just as he was texting her, he changed his mind and decided to surprise her instead, wondering what her reaction would be.
DING! DING!
The elevator door opened and Noah walked in. After pressing for the eleventh floor and just as the elevator was about to close, a hand obstructed its path, not letting the doors close.
Noah glanced at the man who looked like he was in his early thirties, draped in a grey suit. To others at most they would describe the man as knowledgeable, and looked like he worked at a great company, but to Noah he knew exactly who the man is and he even knew who this man's boss was.
Assistant Yoon made the way for his boss, who then just seconds after walked into the elevator. Noah's eyes then fell on the other man, who was casually dressed in a beige trench coat, a black shirt and black pants.
Never in his life would he be able to forget this face.
"Which floor?" Noah asked, even though he already knew the answer.
When Ryan didn't respond, Noah felt a bit annoyed but to clear the awkward air, Assistant Yoon jumped in and said, "Eleventh."
To which, Noah just stepped back and didn't do anything as it was already pressed.
"I see you've got Soo Min her favorite fried chicken." Noah commented glancing at the bag of food, Ryan was holding.
"It's good to know that at least you somewhat care about her, not to mention getting her into this mess in the first place." Noah sarcastically said.
"And I see that you haven't changed at all. Being as nosy as ever." Ryan nonchalantly said.
"Me? Nosy?" Noah scoffed.
"I'm her best friend. Of course I would be worried about her." He exclaimed.
"Good. I hope you know your limits then." Ryan informed.
He had been silently observing Noah every time he was with Soo Min, and he could clearly tell that his feelings and care towards her was more than what was between friends.
The elevator opened and Ryan stepped out without even sparing a fleeting glance, followed by Assistant Yoon.
Though he knew he could not avoid Noah, since he had a close connection with Soo Min, he still planned to lessen their interactions as much as possible.

Hospital Lobby.
Clapping the dust off his hands, Hwang Chang Min walked with a satisfied grin plastered on to his face. "Now that I've kept those two fools busy, I can go back to focusing on my work. Sunbae should be at the concert by now and there's nobody planning on visiting her today, so everything should be just fine."
Walking towards the reception desk, Hwang Chang Min asked, "Hey Ara. Sunbae asked me to pick up some of her files that she gave to you yesterday, since I'm handling her cases for now. Do you have them with you? I thought I might as well get a head start."
"Oh yes. They are right here. Also, can you tell Dr. Park that her check up for tonight is moved to tomorrow. I thought it would be better since her fiancé and her friend are here to meet her." Receptionist Ara informed.
"Sure. No problem. I'll let her know—WAIT WHAT?"
