Chapter 54: Her Cuteness

Ryan slowly made his towards Soo Min curious about her sudden change in behavior.
"U-Uh wow that was quick! So what did you get me?" Soo Min asked trying to cover up her odd behavior a couple seconds ago.
"Yeah… There wasn't much of a line in the cafeteria." Ryan replied as his eyes trailed from the tv remote to Soo Min's tensed face.
When she noticed his eyes on the tv remote, she pulled it closer to her, smiling back at him.
"Anyways, what were you doing while I was gone?" Ryan asked with raised eyebrows as he placed the food bag on the table.
"Oh you know just switching through channels, trying to find something to watch." Soo Min nervously said with a smile.
'Now she's smiling at me? Okay there's definitely something strange going on here.' Ryan mused.
He walked closer to her and asked, "Really? Cool. Here give me the remote, I want to watch the news."
As he reached for the tv remote on the bed, Soo Min swiftly picked it up and said, "Maybe later. Why don't we eat first. The food will taste bad if it turned cold, you know."
"Yeah but it only takes a minute to turn on the tv. So just give it to me quickly and then we can eat." Ryan insisted.
He leaned over her to take the tv remote, but she quickly switched it over to the other hand.
"NO!" Soo Min firmly stated.
Ryan was surprised by her determined tone, and looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
When she realized that went a bit too far, Soo Min pursed her lips as he saw Ryan's blue eyes looking back at her.
But if she was stubborn then so was he!
Ryan immediately grabbed both her wrists with his hands and held them in place, almost startling Soo Min.
"Hey! What are you doing let go of me!" Soo Min protested.
"Just hand me the tv remote and I'll let you go!" Ryan stated with a notorious smile.
"NEVER! Just let go." Soo Min determinedly spoke.
"Then I guess you and I are stuck like this, but that's fine by me." Ryan informed.
"Miss Park, it's time to clean your wound." A nurse stepped into the room and her eyes widened in shock before she quickly turned to face the other way.
"I AM SO SORRY! THE DOOR WAS OPEN SO I THOUGHT—forget that pardon me for interrupting. I'll come back some other time!" With that said, the nurse dashed out of the room, closing the door behind her.
"WAIT! NO ITS FINE! COME BACK! ITS NOT WHAT YOU THINK!" Soo Min shouted but in vain.
It wasn't until the nurse's intrusion that they realized the intimate position they were in.
Soo Min's face reddened under Ryan's body that was towering over hers, before she pushed him over with all the strength and immediately sat upright.
Ryan took this chance and grabbed the tv remote that was right behind her and turned on the tv.
"NO!" Soo Min covered her face in embarrassment as she heard the voices in the tv.
When Ryan saw the tv screen, his face contorted as he held in his laughter. It was an make out scene of a popular Korean drama.
'This woman was feeling shy just by watching a make out scene? Did she think I would judge her because of watching something like this? How silly!' Ryan shook his head while smiling at the shy woman.
He quickly turned off the tv and then got of the bed, before kneeling beside her and slowly removing her hands from her face.
'How cute.' He mused when he say her red face.
"What's with that smug look on your face, huh?" Soo Min questioned with a confused look on her face, before her eyes widened and she quickly wrapped her hands around her body in a protective manner.
"Don't even think that just because of that one dumb scene that I'm that kind of person! How cheap." Soo Min frowned.
Ryan stared at her face in disbelief, before he flicked her forehead. "You stupid woman! What kind of thoughts run in that silly mind of yours. Do you really think that I'd believe you, a woman who gets flustered just by watching a kissing scene, could even do such a thing? Stop acting like your an adult, little girl."
He chuckled before walking over to the table and taking out the food from the bag.
Soo Min stared at him as she watched him serve the food on the plate. 'Did he just mock me?' Her lips twitched.
