Chapter 35: I Don’t Want Her To Get Hurt

A few moments ago.

Ryan walked around the mall with his hands casually tucked in his pockets and Assistant Yoon tailing behind closely.

"Say Yoon?" Ryan abruptly stopped in his tracks almost making Assistant Yoon bump into him.

"Y—Yes Young Master?" Assistant Yoon asked.

"That designer my mom mentioned, where is he originally from?" Ryan asked turning towards his assistant.

"Well according to what is in the database, Choi Sang Yeol studied at the Couture University in Paris, France. He has stores worldwide, but since his parents are originally from this country, he stays here for the most of time." Assistant Yoon briefed.

"Hmm... is there anything else?" Ryan nonchalantly asked.

"No boss. We haven't found any suspicious activity from his side." Assistant Yoon informed.

"Alright." Ryan said before the two of them stopped in front of a particular store, and looked up at the sign that read 'Flawless Co.' in metallic gold letters.

As soon as the two of them entered the store, they furrowed their eyebrows when they heard a slightly raised voice and stopped to watch the scene in front of them.

"I can't take this anymore! The two of you keep having endless complaints for every single dress that I've tried on. All this time, I just keep listening and tried to understand things from your point of view, but now I don't care what you have to say." Soo Min firmly stated before she stomped over to them.

"It's my engagement and I will decide what dress I have to wear. I'm choosing this gown, and I will not be trying any other dresse—Aahh!" Not realizing the gap between the floor and the podium, Soo Min let out a shout of surprise when she tripped on her gown and was about to fall flat on her face.

Ryan's eyes widened and he immediately rushed to go catch her.

Just as she was about to hit the floor, Soo Min felt a strong pair of arms securely wrapped around either side of her waist, preventing her from falling.

Soo Min widened her eyes in surprise when she saw Ryan standing in front of her. Her hands were reflexively placed his on shoulders to balance herself.

She was practically leaning against his firm chest.

Due to their proximity, the two of them could feel each other's breaths on their faces. Soo Min's light brown eyes were interlocked with Ryan's deep blue ones. Her curly eyelashes fluttered as if she was still processing everything that had just happened.

While that was happening here, two other people in the room were grinning from ear to ear.

At first, when Mother Song and Father Park saw Soo Min trip they were quite scared and everything happened so quickly that they did not even have any time to react.

But to their surprise, Ryan had already caught her and prevented the situation from turning bad. In fact, they themselves were in for quite a shock to see him here, but were grateful, because if not for him who knows what might have happened.

Ryan sighed of relief knowing that he was able to save Soo Min from that fall at the right time. He slightly lifted her feet off the podium and onto the porcelain floor before he turned to the designer and instructed, "I would like it if the length of the gown could be a little shorter, I don't want her to fall and get herself hurt again."

Soo Min was quite surprised to hear him say that and glanced at him from the corner of her eyes.

Designer Choi nodded and said, "Don't worry. We need to do some alterations to the dress anyway, so I'll make sure to lessen the length of the gown as well."
