CHAPTER 6: Trust your gut
/ Something glowing in a Queen's sentry safe has to catch Chris's eyes.
Chris: oohhh, no...no...it can be.
/ Even if you still have doubts, you still try to open the Sentry, but you can't.
Chris: Great, just great...I wonder where would she hides the key
/Before you make any more moves, the door swing open and reveal the queen behind it.
Queen: admiring my collections?
/ your jaw drops, you shake your head and swallow. You take a moment to look around then you see the collections for the first time.
Chris: Yeah...yeah, it...it cool
/ The queen smiles and beckons you to go
Queen: I think you can show yourself out.
Chris: yes, your highness.
/ you bow and head outside. You meet Rose heading for her room. She meets your eyes then smile shyly at you
Rose: oohhh, hey Chris, I didn't expect to see you here.
Chris: oohhh, the queen was showing me her collection.
Rose: it impressive, isn't it?
/ you lean close to her and whisper...
Chris: I would even say beautiful.
Rose: yes, I know it...
/ You lean back and smile at her. Her eyes go wide while she gets what you mean
Rose: oohhh, you mean...Me!!!
/ She clears her throat and looks away. You can see her cheeks turn red. You break the silence.
Chris: it been a long time since I cut my hair
/ Rose responds abruptly fast.
Rose: I can do it!!
/ You eyebrow at her
Chris: I don't want to be rude Rose but I only let professionals touching my hair.
Rose: trust me, Chris, it not my first time
/ You study her long enough to know that she isn't lying
Chris: ok, you convinced me, and besides you're cute and next to you, what could go wrong?
/ she beams and hesitates but says it anyway.
Rose: we...I think...in..my room
Chris: you mean we can do it in your room...I thought you do never ask.
Rose: the haircut of course
Chris: of course... to a start.
/ She leads you inside...
Rose: make yourself comfortable, I'm going looking for the material.
/ You lay on her bed. She comes back with the material
Chris: Wow, your bed is cozy.
Rose: Thanks, no one ever been here except the princess but it doesn't count because she was looking for me
Chris: which makes me your first visitor?
Rose: yes
/ You stand up and step in front of her then whisper to her ears
Chris: Does that make me special?
Rose: yes...... I mean you are already special...no...I mean it's...just sit down, please.
/ You chuckle and sit on the ground while she sits on the bed. You put your head between her knees and she starts working on your hair. The two of you talk, laugh, and bond but mostly you flirt with her
While later...
Rose: and done!
/ She gives you the mirror. You admire your look and look at her.
Chris: You weren't wrong. You are a professional Rose.
Rose: well, I have learned from the best which is my mother.
Chris: She must be Amazing
Rose: Why do you think so?
Chris: she raised you. Didn't she?
Rose: yes, she did
Chris: you are a wonderful woman
/ She looks embarrassingly away. You take that as your cue to leave. When you reach the door her hand catches yours and you turn to find tears rolling around her eyes.
Chris: Rose, are you okay?
Rose: what the means of flirting with me too much?
Chris: Isn't obvious, I like you
Rose: really?
Chris: of course, why would I flirt with someone I don't care.
Rose: My family doesn't flirt with me and they love me
Chris: Rose the feelings are different.
/ She wipes her tears and looks at you. This time she doesn't leave your eyes, the smile starts growing around your face
Chris: Rose, you have unique eyes
Rose: well, I would say that. My mom got the same
Chris: oohhh, you two seem close
Rose: indeed.
/ You lean close and whisper to her
Chris: what do you want? Ask anything.
/ She takes your palm and put it on her cheek. You can see her eyes full of desire as she speaks...
Rose: I want you to kiss me, Chris
/ You lean close and brush your lips on her, kiss her passionately deeply while she throws her arms around your neck.
After a moment she pulls back.
Rose: It's my first kiss.
Chris: really? So I'm a lucky guy...Is it me or I just can get enough of you.
Rose: Then, I'm here to please you.
/ You lower your hand down on her butt and squeeze it tight. She gasps when you cut her with a kiss...and more...and more kissing.
A little later you wake up and find her sleep on your lap.
You step out of the bedroom slowly to not wake her up and head out.
In the hallway, you ran into Aria.
Chris: How is your leg?
Aria: better now... Nice haircut
Chris: Thank you. I didn't know you are still here.
Aria: I promise Katharina that I will accompany her on Sasvack's day. So I have to fulfill my promise.
/ you nod...
Chris: okay.
Aria: you have no idea about what I just say, don't you?
Chris: nope.
/ Aria sigh...
Aria: it a traditional day when the royal heir of each empire goes out to hunt. And this year the princess come with us
Chris: Okay, have a nice hunt.
/you pass her but she calls you out.
Aria: you should join us, I promise you it gonna be fun
Chris: Didn't you just say it a company of royal heir.
Aria: hey, that why I ask you and besides I will appreciate your company
Chris: Okay, I'm coming.
/ A while later you, Aria, Katharina, and Vlad Cogred ride in the woods. The princes are just behind you. Everyone is there except prince Cedrick. Prince Edward tells one of his adventures. He speaks with an Italian accent
Edward: ...that is when I take my sword out and say to them " Do you want to take it up or down" they all surrender.
Jasper: huh, huh that is a terrible catchphrase.
Willy: I like that story
/Silyart smirks. You lower your voice so that only Aria can hear.
Chris: It always likes this.
Aria: no, but you will get to use to it
/ Princess Katharina caches your eyes and winks. Your eyes widen...
Princess: looking good there Chris, are you alright?
/ You swallow before the answer to her...
Chris: yes, princess...I mean your highness.
/ she chuckles like she was teasing you. Prince Silyart looks at you suspiciously.
Silyart: a Luxamy huh?
Chris: mmhhh.
Silyart: you must have a better adventure story to tell than him.
/ He nods toward Edward's direction. Edward rolls his eyes. Aria speaks before you say anything
Aria: Actually, Chris captures an Exciobil yesterday.
/ Everyone's eyes widen as they look at you.
Willy: How?
Edward: where did you learn a hunter Solemn?
Silyart: forget the solemn. How did you even see it?
/ When Silyart's question comes out, Aria responds fast as she was waiting for that question
Aria: I gave him my Zirlyck
Jasper: well, that is a story I want to hear
Princess: agree. A Luxamy who save a hunter from an Exciobil. That going to the top list of my collection
/ You both laugh. Suddenly Vlad Cogred raised his hand to stops you and put his finger on his lips.
Vlad Cogred: sshhuu...there is something out here
/ As you both quiet, you hear an echo of groans coming from your left. You follow it. The voice became louder and louder until you see it.
Chris: Oh shit...that...that is a really mad..dog
Jasper: which book do you even read? That is not a dog
/ Vlad Cogred takes his sword with a determined look on his face
Vlad Cogred: it a Ziamon.
Princess: you know we can't outrun it
Aria: of course, we can't.
/ Prince Jasper takes his sword too.
Jasper: which mean we have to fight it
Chris: what?
/ Jasper, Silyart, Vlad Cogred, and Edward have surrounded the Ziamon.
You and others are behind just watching.
Edward reaches from behind but it catches him with his tail and throws him in the air then comes crashing back down. He stands up and smiles
Edward: I'm okay everyone.
/ Vlad Cogred throws a dagger at the monster mouth but fire comes out of the monster and burns the dagger
Chris: guys... have any of you ever fight that thing before because it seems impossible to kill.
Willy: really helpful Chris!!!
Silyart: the boy got a point. Do we have any plans? Any weak spot?
/ Everyone shakes his head until Aria speaks from behind
Aria: his left eye
Jasper: what now?
Aria: his weak spot is his left eye
Vlad Cogred: that helpful but how do we get closer
/ You hear a horse's footsteps approach
Chris: Does anyone hear that?
Willy: Yeah, it sounds like a horse
Princess: and it coming this way
/ You see the knight with a white horse appear faster. You step aside to let him pass while Aria does the same. Her jaw drops when the knight passes.
Aria: no...it can be
Chris: who is that?
/ But she is distracted by the knight who jumps off the horse with his sword in his right hand and his shield in the other hand pointing in the direction of Ziamon. It releases a blast of fire but his shield remains intact and the knight moves closer and closer without hesitation. He moves everywhere faster than you've ever seen, dodging the monster. A dust tornado is blocking your view. You hear loud groans from the monster when the knight howls. At that moment everything goes quiet. And the dust begins to calm down and reveal what's behind it. You see the knight stands above the Ziamon trying to take his sword from the eye of the monster. His shiny silver and white armor glow in the night. He heading towards you. You turn to see Aria on her knees, follows by Willy behind her, everyone suddenly bows except the princess. You don't know what to do. You bow too.
Chris: Oh, boy.
Aria: Shut up...
