Chapter 7

While the group left behind in the classroom were eating, the two Silver Marks could be seen walking through the 5th floor of the building but were in two separate places.

The girl that was wearing a blue hoodie was in one of the classrooms waiting for the announcement for the start of the scavenger hunt while the douchebag-looking guy was wandering around aimlessly in the hallways.

Seemingly tired of his constant walking, the Silver Mark guy got into one of the rooms and sat on the teacher's desk. He then thought, 'This stuff wasn't supposed to happen. Those idiots shouldn't have died! They're just dumping all the work to me. Fucking idiots.'

The Silver Mark guy sighed in frustration and laid down on the desk as he closed his eyes. His last thoughts before falling asleep were, 'I'll just take a quick nap. Nothing will happen while I sleep, right? Right.'

[Scavenger Hunt will begin]

[Time until midnight]

05: 29: 59

"Huh, so it's still 6:30? Thought that the [Third Mission] would start around 9 PM and only giving us 3 hours to look for some coins," Adan said with a thoughtful look.

But lo and behold, nobody was there to listen to what he said. They were already in one of the classrooms on floor 5 or 6 ready to look for some coins. They have split apart into groups or just went solo last Adan heard from them.

The groups and individuals were:

-The family

-The Yi siblings

-Seol Jihu

-Hyun Sangmin

-Shin Sang-Ah

-Cap guy

Adan never really bothered to ask for the names of the family and the dude wearing a cap. It was just too troublesome for him.

Seeing that he has nothing else to do, Adan slowly walked towards the door and opened it. Much to his surprise, the Silver Mark girl was behind the door.

"Oh hey! The Silver Mark girl! How are you doing? Any luck in finding some coins?" Adan waved a hand at her cheerily.

The Silver Mark girl then looked up at him and said in a small voice, "My name isn't Silver Mark girl. It's Yun Seora."

Adan nonchalantly brushed his shoulders and said, "Meh, you're still a little girl. Hey, how old are you again? You look like you're in your late teens."

Yun Seora pouted at that and exclaimed, "I am not a child! So don't treat me like one!"

Surprised at her exclamation, Adan looked at her pouting face and subconsciously pinched both of her cheeks while saying, "So cute..."

Feeling a little annoyed, Yun Seora then tried to pry off Adan's hands off her face but couldn't. The only thing that she could do at that moment was to say, "Stwop pwinching meeeee!!"

Not bothered by Yun Seora's pleas, Adan continued on what he was doing for a couple more seconds and finally stopped.

A feeling of relief suddenly flowed into Yun Seora's body as the 'torture' was finally done but her celebration was cut off when Adan picked her up by her armpits and hugged her while rubbing their cheeks together.

"Awwww, look at you! You're the third prettiest loli that I have ever seen! Why in the world are your parents making you go to Paradise! They should have just kept you in their house and be their little girl forever! I know that's what I would've done if I ever have a daughter as cute as you!"

Yun Seora then continued to struggle as she tried to push Adan's face away from hers whilst a huge blush was present on her face. She then thought, 'This man knows no shame!'

3 minutes later, finally stopped as Adan set a blushing Yun Seora down. He then smiled at her and said, "Why don't you come with me to the library? If I get satisfied with all the items I get from my gacha then I'll give you some of my coins."

Remembering how many coins the man in front of her has Yun Seora nodded at him. She knows that this is what they call leeching off of others and it would make the map she has pointless, but going the easy way out sometimes isn't bad, right?

(A/N: I know that Yun Seora wouldn't exactly do this but I don't know how else I'm going to let Adan give away his coins as the others already left him in the classroom to find coins.)

Seeing her nod, Adan happily smiled at her and said, "So why don't we go to the library?"

Yun Seora raised an eyebrow at him as she asked, "Why there?"

Adan shrugged his shoulders and replied, "I dunno. It's been a while since I've been to a library." 'And that's where I found the gacha thingy Han was talking about when I was exploring/getting my coins.'

Yun Seora then gave him a cold stare and nodded her head. Adan cheerily walked past her and continued on towards the stairs as he said to her, "Come on slowpoke! I know where it is!"

As Adan was walking ahead of her, Yun Seora was looking at his back in suspicion and thought, 'How come he already knows where the library is? Was it because he came across it when he found all those coins of his?'

With questions unanswered, Yun Seora silently continued to follow Adan with a few feet of distance between them.

Not minding Yun Seora's precaution, Adan just continued on to walk towards the library after they finished climbing up the stairs. 'Ahhhh finally! I can get me some of those items they got in the novel like the Potion of Revival or the Quill Pen of Flowing Consciousness. Heh, I'm gonna abused the fact that I have so many coins on me and won't stop until I get 5 Revival Potions and 10 Quill of Pen of Flowing Consciousness.'

After a couple of minutes of walking, Adan and Yun Seora finally arrived. As both of them entered the library, Adan beelined towards the gacha machine and said to his companion, "Oi! Little girl! Can you watch the door, please? Don't want anyone in her but us!"

Not finding any problem with what he said, Yun Seora stood by at the door and started guarding it like the dutiful loli that she is.

(A/N: I don't know if the height of 166 cm is enough to call her a loli but comparing her to Adan's 196 cm height? Then yeah... she pretty much looks like a loli to him so I'm making him call her that even though it's only in the monologue.)

Trying to remember how much Seol Jihu gave the machine in the novel, Adan just decided to wing it and poured 500 coins in the machine on his first try. Seeing that the machine looks like it was going to give him something, Adan smiled in joy that his guess was correct.

But what surprised him though was that when he opened the pokemon ball-like thing, it gave him something that wasn't shown in the manhwa or novel.

And what the fuck was he even looking at? Contact lenses? Why would he even need these?

Sighing in disappointment, Adan silently put the contact lenses inside his bag and started the gacha machine again but this time, he only used 400 coins.

Lo and behold! A fucking ring!

Adan sat on the floor in complete depression as he thought, 'I don't know if these items are even going to be useful! Ahhhh, fuck this shit! I'll try another one!'

Adan then tried another spin but with only 300 coins this time around. And finally, to his happiness, the potion of revival appeared! He then tried another round and this time, the quill showed up!

Smiling maniacally, Adan tried the gacha machine 20 more times and this is what he got overall;

13x Potions of Revival

4x Quill Pen of Consciousness

2x Box of 10 Spell Balls

2x Mirror of Understanding

1x Pair of Contact Lenses

1x Ring

1x 6th-floor Access Key

Smiling in satisfaction, Adan walked towards Yun Seora who was guarding the door while trying to appear to be looking at what he got in curiosity. Chuckling in amusement, Adan took one step and he immediately arrived beside her.

Gasping out in shock, Yun Seora looked at the towering figure of Adan beside her and thought, 'How in the wo-'

Yun Seora's train of thoughts was then interrupted as Adan's gigantic hand patted her head which in turn caused her face to go red.

Adan's chuckle turned into that of laughter as soon as he saw her facial expression and said, "So wanna receive your payment for guarding the door, little lady?"

Yun Seora's clouding eyes quickly cleared as she slapped Adan's hand off her head as she shouted, "I-I-I'm not a little lady! You're just freakishly tall!"

Adan shook his head in amusement and handed her exactly 2000 coins as he said, "Here you go LITTLE LADY. That's your payment," as a smile was plastered on his face.

Yun Seora could only bit her bottom lip in frustration and snatch the coins on Adan's hand as she headed towards the gacha with a "Humph!"

"Heh, you're not fooling anyone little lady! I know you enjoyed my head pat!"

"B-B-BE Q-QUIET!!!"

Adan looked at her head in surprise as he thought, 'Is that smoke coming out of her ears? And can a person even blush through their neck?'

Seeing that Yun Seora was trying hard to hide what she got from him, Adan soon turned around as he chuckles in amusement and guarded the door.

While he was guarding the door, he then thought, 'Heh now that the 6th-floor Access Key is with me, that little shit Silver Mark can't open the door. I doubt that he would gather around 650 coins with Seol Jihu sweeping through the floors with that Diary of his.'
