Where Green is Greed

I used to believe that love made the world go round. Then, I met probably one of the greediest men to have existed, Kakuzu. It was bad luck to have crossed him, the only good thing she had was information on a bounty. She learned that it was either her or the bounty. Like every other human being, she chose herself she didn't want her heart to be ripped out by this tentacle being. It was her fear and his greed that saved her pathetic life and killed another man. Did she deserve to live? Someone who trembled at the sight of that eerie green-eyed man did they deserve to live? To her, the answer was yes. It was a harsh and cruel world, yes, but she wanted to see what beauty this world had to offer. She wasn't going to become a stone, a hard killer murderer no, she was going to live her life, even if it meant that she had to be selfish and rob people of theirs. That was her resolve, and, when she looks back she knew she had done the smart choice, not the right or wrong choice, the smart one.

          She was going to live!

                             ...

Living was easier said than done. Could she take back that oath and do something else? Who knew to have to deal with bullshit like this was life? Not me, all I wanted was to stay at home and stuff my face till my stomach begs me to stop.

What bull shit was I dealing with? Death did it this time. His dark coffee brown eyes practically glowed underneath his "dead inside" look that another anime character called L had.

"Look at this!" Death shoved something at my face his voice was laced like the glazed donuts I eat with excitement. What is it this time?

Looking at the title of the book I read, "50 shades of Grey". Oh, is this a book about the greys of life. It must be one of those books on anxiety, depression, and loneliness.

Not taking any chances I asked," What's It about?" I did not expect Death's answer.

"It's all about erotica and bondage! I love Mr. Grey's sexy kinks! Oh, how I would love to have a dominating man like that." Death sighed dreamily, most likely thinking of some of the lewd things about that book.

"That sounds absolutely disgusting!" I exclaimed, not actually thinking that at all. Later during the night, I would have to examine the book myself. I curled my toes up in delight at the thought.

"I didn't know you were into straight books," I said, not really surprised.

"Oh, I am." Death said lustfully, walking away giggling in a perverted manner.

I sighed before I decided that I needed to clean the abandoned house properly. I was going to use some of my jutsu in order to do it, seeing as how I'm surrounded by teenage boys.

The house itself wasn't large. It was two bedroomed and had one small bathroom that's moss could be used as a deadly poison. The kitchen was small and the living room would only be able to fit a couch and tv. We have been used our chakra to keep ourselves warm and protected from disease.

Pulling a Levi Ackermann trick, I summoned cleaning supplies from out of nowhere. The first area I was going to clean and modify was the kitchen.

The kitchen was full of dust and rat shit. It was disgusting! I didn't even know the color for the wallpaper! Using a large broom I started to sweep the counters because dusting it off seemed highly unlikely. There was no table or microwave. I didn't even wanna go into the fridge.

I immediately regretted sweeping the large amounts of dust onto the floor. It exploded into a smoke bomb (at least to me), and I ended up coughing after inhaling a lifetimes worth of dust.

Waiting for the dust to settle down on the equally fusty floor I repeated the process so that the counters could be presentable.

The boys could've at least offered to help me with the maintenance. Instead, they were reading the book I wanted to get my hands on.

Why the fuck was I doing this shit? They fucking live here too, those assholes! Growling underneath my breath I continued to fight the good fight and defeat my nemesis.

Finally, after two hours of constant work. We finally got rid of all the dust, spider webs, moss, and a growing ball of slime that rested in the kitchen. I was ready to start building something for the table and chairs, not to mention I had to enlarge the house more and add decorations.

Using what I called Sōzō, the OP power I was talking about I expanded the kitchen so that it was easily three times its size. I made the wallpaper have three small symbols all over it again and again. Death's skulls, Nara Clan Crest, and the Uzumaki Clan Crest. The background of the wallpaper was light pink. (I never understood why people hated the color pink, in my eyes, it was a beautiful misunderstood color that needed a little appreciation).

For the table in the kitchen, I made the most detailed thing I have ever done in my life. The table was made out of dark wood and had expensive gold paint lining on the sides. It was glossed over and the legs of the table had carvings of epic battle scenes that occurred in shinobi history.

The chairs matched the table and had dark maroon cushions on each one. Gold lining (paint, not real gold) encircled the back of the chair which had smooth poles of wood to entice comfort onto whoever sat there.

Seeing as I wrote two paragraphs about it you can tell I was proud of my fine creation.

The floor, which I noticed had black and white checkered patterns that had cracked tiles now had maroon and gold tiles to match the tables coloring.

The counters weren't much to be proud of, there were stains that couldn't come off. I changed the counters to a glittery glossy black color and the island counter had a cabinet underneath it where we could store our weapons and poison, or maybe perhaps some pots and pans.

Finally, go finish off the rather lavish look I added a portrait I made of Death, Shikamaru, and I. Death was smirking in a way that you knew he was thinking of something perverted while Shikamaru had a bored yet tired look to his face and posture. Of course, I was the grandest one of them for I had a cocky smirk and a shirt that said, "Badass" on it.

I chuckled at that portrait and decided it was time to add the homely decorations that would scream someone lived there. How people wish they could be me.

The plates were white with dazzling flowers and gold trim. The cups were about the same with different flowers.

To go into the walls of the kitchen I added a speaker so that I could listen to music as loud as I wanted.

All in all the kitchen was gorgeous and worthy of someone as godly as me. The boys still did not raise a single finger to help me out.

I went to the bathroom next because sooner or later we were going to use the restroom.

I won't even go into details on the disgusting thing we called the bathroom. All that I could say was that it contained slimy moss that not even Sasori would touch to use as a deadly poison.

The bathroom's tub was a pristine white with light blue lacing. I added a high-pressure nozzle to release tension on the body's muscles. I also added a variety of soaps and conditions as I did not know what the boys wanted.

The time was a checkered light blue that attached itself go white. The floor wasn't anything noteworthy compared to the tub.

The sink's area had three sinks (I was not going to fight the boys for this bathroom, trust me, there will be another bathroom for guests we don't give a fuck about). The nozzles were gold and the rest of the sink was porcelain white. There was a toothbrush holder on the right of the sinks that faced the door. It held a toothbrush for each of us.

For the grand masterpiece that went with building the bathroom was the wallpaper for the bathroom. I wove a white background with shinobis battling with various styles of water styled jutsu. Closing the birch wood door I quickly made the hallway.

The hallway was nothing special. Just four feet across so that we don't feel closed in (trained shinobi don't feel comfortable in closed off spaces). The was a rather lavish carpet that held a map of the shinobi nations as decoration. The walls were lined up with photos I made of all three of us. I wasn't going to use my prized collection if photos with autographs. There were swirls of gold lining here and there but not too much.

Next, I had to clean and make the bedrooms. I heard the door closing and Pineapple and Death's voices fade away. That reminded me I had to make a security system with traps and alarms.

Knowing I had to create a few extra rooms I decided to clean out Death's room and expand it to be four times its size (Death loves the master bedrooms, believes it makes him have more places to hide his manga). I set the temperature to be an icy cold seeing as it was Deaths preferred setting.

I created a large king-sized bed with hot pink blankets. There were rhinestones, the fake ones, scattered across the bed frame to give Death his lavish look. The carpet was a subtle gray that highlighted the pink.

I added an extremely large painted pink dresser with a tv, multiple amounts of game systems, and makeup on the surface of it. A full body mirror on the wall right beside it.

One his walls there was a large painting of Death as the future king of the Underworld (Which he was) having an expensive crown on his head and lounging on a throne of bones and precious jewels. To feed Death's fantasy there was a kageyama at feet who had a leash and jeweled collar on him. The flames of hell as a background.

It was a nice painting if you asked me. My room would be even better though.

There were blackout curtains and hanging pink Christmas lights lacing around the room. I even added some romantic candles if Death ever decided to bring a partner over to sleep with.

Finally done with Death's room I moved onto Pineapple Head's. I knew Pineapple loved laziness so that's what his room would equal out to. First, I would have to clean it.

After cleaning the dust and spider webs I started to enlarge the room but not as much as Death's. Pineapple wanted a man cave, not an entire apartment.

On the left corner on the back of the room, there was a large King sized bed that had a deer's body as a decoration. Knowing that Nara meant deer and Pineapple missed relaxing with his deer.

There was a sofa on the right wall of the room and it was a dark brown and had fresh cushions.

There was a large tv with a speaker in front of the bed on top of a large brown dresser. On the right side of the dresser laid a huge shelf that held all kinds of books that I knew Pineapple would love.

I had the carpet look like the forest floor while the walls were painted as large trees. The ceiling was painted like a sky that held beautiful shades of blue and multiple clouds. The best part, when Pineapple turns off the light switch the ceiling turned into an exact replica of the night sky we saw while we were still in Konoha.

There was also a mini fridge stuffed full of mackerel and multiple sweets. I knew he was going to love that.

With Pineapple's room creatively completed I moved onto a guest bedroom and bathroom.

The guest bedroom had a grey bed, white walls, and a brown cabinet. It was small compared to the rest of the rooms but that didn't mean anything.

The guest bathroom was the same as ours but only had one sink and three gender-neutral soaps.

I decided to save my room for last so that I could finish the rest of the house on the same day.

I made an office that was split into three parts, each one normal sized.

Each office had the same decorations. Cream colored walls with wooden flooring. There was a large desk with cabinets and a bookshelf behind the desk. Each side wall had a file cabinet on each side to organize better. There were two chairs in front of the desk but that was it. I know the offices were lacking in creativity but it wasn't supposed to be creative.

On the door to each office, there was a nameplate with each of our names.

The workout gym, living room, weapon room, medical room, and the basement plus my room was all that I had to do next.

Walking into the kitchen I put on "Sexy and I Know It" to echo all throughout the house. Dancing sexily along to the music I twirled myself onto the large foundation of the gym.

The gym didn't have any decorations. It did have a set temperature that could blow a slight breeze.

There were treadmills, a dreadmill ( in which you run across an uneven mill that threw kunai and shuriken at you whilst screaming in Gai's voice about the "Y" word. Absolutely dreadful). There were throwing machines and a rock wall that had oil on it and loose pins. There was also my favorite, the dancing machine that tested your speed, flexibility, agility, and stamina.

The living room had a light mint green color and pink coloring that clashed together to form the ultimate battle of color. The couches were pink and the walls were green. The 75-inch flat screen tv stood in front of the couches.

The rug was oval shaped and had a fluffy white texture. The rest of the floor was wooden and cold. On top of the rug was a glass coffee table that had beautiful legs that had flower designs. The coffee table had just the right amount of elegance and homeliness. On each side of the couch, there was inside plants from the Shinobi Nations that had deadly poisons that weren't from this world.

The weapon room had no decoration, only grey walls, and a wooden floor.

Exactly what the weapon room was called there were sealed weapon packs that would be used for missions. There were strong kenjutsu scrolls in one cabinet.

The weapons varied from gas bombs to shovels. I automatically knew this was already Death's favorite room besides the kitchen.

The medical room had exactly what a hospital would have for an emergency surgery room. Hell, it was better than a hospital. It was an important room due to the fact that I knew one of us was going to get hurt.

The basement was nothing special, it just looked like a night club. That was until I made a secret room filled with top-notch computers and cases I knew were going to be used for our hero costumes. There was a fridge in the secret room filled with snacks that Choji would've literally killed for. There was a sound system and neon pink Christmas lights that were hanging from the ceiling of this secret room.

Finally, I could start on my glamorous room! I highly suspected that it was night time an I wondered if the boys have seen their rooms yet.

My bedroom was the master bedroom of this house. I made a large walk-in closet filled to the brim with clothes, jewelry, shoes, and dresses I would love to wear. That was just the closet!

My carpet was red in color and was soft to the touch. I added hints of orange and yellow into the mix to give it the fire look.

My walls were filled with the thousands of pictures I took with almost every named ninja in the bingo book. Along with each of their signatures. I didn't even bother painting the walls. The ceiling was open roofed to provide natural light that I thought was better than light bulbs.

My bed was queen sized and had the picture of a shinobi performing a fire style jutsu. It also a remote control to decide whether up or down for the mattress.

I made a small fully grown sakura tree near my dresser which held my work out gear and under clothes. On top of the dresser, there were my tv and game systems.

On the right side of my room, a huge cabinet filled with books and scrolls on jutsu and how to perform medical ninjutsu.

In the absolute middle of my room stood a huge exhibit with a water-filled glass tank. Inside that tank was a small snake that was considered a myth in the Shinobi Nations and didn't exist in this world. The Belcher Sea Snake and a few small glowing fish.

I really loved what I did with my room! However, the mental note to make a security system crossed my mind. So I did, there was no way to enter the house without a willing blood seal from one of the three of us.

I also put a few potted plants inside the house to give it a more homely look and feel to it.

Time to work on the outside!

Actually, I'll just make z garden with a few sakura trees and an electric fence. No need to do yard work.

                            ...

When Shikamaru and Death came back to the house they did not expect what they saw! The outside of the house was calm and serene, with sakura trees and a small colorful garden. There was a fence and were those parakeets?

The inside was blinding, it suited well with their needs and make them feel more at home and ease than they ever did.

They had to wonder how the fuck Saikio managed to pull this off in just a day!

Question: If you were a powered human/alien/monster/freak what would be your hero name and why?
