Reunion

The entrance of the tunnel was dark, but after traversing deep down, the mine tunnels were lit up by a lamp containing Photon flies. Photon flies are insects that resemble fireflies. The difference is that these insects are in the shape of small balls of fluff. These insects don't eat in their adult stage which they started to glow, but after one week they all died.

Since they are concealed in the lamps. There is no way to reproduce or give birth to new photon flies. Their natural habitat was lakes. Lakes where they lay their eggs.

Lumine took one of the lamps hooked to the wall and used it as her flashlight. Both of our heroes walk side by side and while at it Noah has all his guards up in preparation for an unexpected ambush.

"The delicious smell is getting stronger and stronger."

*Growl!* Lumine's stomach made an unlady noise. "Yeah… I can taste the roasted meat already." Lumine wiped her drool.

Minutes later, they reached a camp where the terrorists rest and eat. Arriving at the clearing, Noah and Lumine were surprised by their numbers. About hundreds of them are in this giant camp. Most of them are asleep though and others are drunk.

"Gyahahahahaha! I can't wait to fuck some animal ass!"

"I like the rabbit beastmen… Like rabbits, they are all horny in bed."

"Cat girls are the best… They are soft and most of them have very cute faces."

"Hahahaha… But all of them have long sharp claws. You better use a nail cutter on them first." A drunkard then noticed Noah and Lumine's presence and turned his head in their direction little confused. "Do we have a brat and a beautiful girl in our ranks?"

"Who is this woman? She doesn't have boobs but she is extremely beautiful."

"What if he is a boy that looks like a girl?"

"We can just fuck his ass."

"Well, as long we feel good… Gyahahaha!"

Drunkards laughed and sipped another mug of beer.

Lumine has her veins popping on her forehead after hearing the comment about her slender body. She places her hands on her chest and rubs. All she felt was a flat horizon, not a small bump.

"I'm still growing… I'll still grow big soft boobs… " Lumine whispered with a grin tone.

"Lumine?"

Lumine made a murderous expression and ordered:

"Execution!" Noah kill them!"

"Caml down, princess… They are enemies but I can't just kill them off. Killing is bad."

Noah said.

"Gyahahahaha! Killing is bad he says. Looks like someone is still green. Let me give you some lessons brat. Killing doesn't mean bad at all. There are times that you have to kill to live the life you wanted."

One drunkard about six foot tall stood up his sword from his waist and pointed its tip at Noah.

"... Annoying people that always get in the way. Annoying people interfere with someone's goal and ambition. Annoying people who steal the one you love by force. All of those annoying people should just die."

"I don't know what kind of life you went through. I think you do have a very tough life. I'm in no position to say anything righteous or act like I know everything in this world. However, in my perspective, you are a terrorist who held beastmen captive in these mines. I'm princess knight and I was ordered to save them. So no hard feelings."

"I was a great knight myself before joining this terrorist group."

"Can you even fight with you being drunk?" Lumine asked.

"I'm not weak enough to have my body controlled by alcohol."

Other terrorists stood up.

"We'll join in."

"Nope, let me handle this on my own. Also, this man's face made me remember my face before. The face of a naive fool who didn't question his princess's orders."

After saying that he sprinted forward and made a hide horizontal swing toward Noah.

Lumine ran behind and Noah came to dodge the sword by hair. His movement was intentional and calculated. By dodging only by an inch his ability to make counterattack immediately. He clenched his fist and prepared for his gravity fist.

However, the terrorist wasn't kidding when he said that his a former knight. No one knows what kingdom his from but he was able to predict Noah's upcoming fist and parried Noah's fist with his sword. The collision released a shock wave enough to make the earth tremble a little.

"What is happening here? A brat? Wait, Gill is fighting?"

"We started a betting game now. How long do you think that small boy will last?"

Terrorists who were awake came to watch the fight and started betting. "Ten minutes the little boy will be defeated." "No, I think in seven minutes the battle will end." "Just who do you think Gill was… He's going to take this brat down in five minutes."

"They started to bet?" Say, Noah.

"Well, don't forget my bet… I'm betting that this fight will end for three minutes." Gill said confidently and his sword shifted into another sword form. The blade started to release light sparks and the Gills body lit up in a pattern of a circuit.

"Lumine is this the strong photon energy you're sensing earlier?"

"Nope, the one I'm sensing is something stronger… But be careful, his body was modified his half human half robot."

Lumine said.

"That's correct, little girl, I almost died once protecting the one I love, but she turned her back on me. She married another man for power and let her body be adultered by him in front of me."

"Gosh… This man has lots of trauma. Noah kills him and releases him from his despair." Lumine said.

"No way! I'll do that… I can't just kill a fellow man."

"Well, if you can kill me, then, I'll be happy." Gill at lightning speed moves around the tunnel in a random direction. He then appeared behind Noah. Noah sensed and rotated his body together with his fist, but he missed. The body that he hit doesn't feel solid.

"It's an afterimage," Gill said appearing beside Noah and delivering a three-strike thrust. Noah took shallow cuts after and had himself distance away from his opponent.

"My sword didn't penetrate through…Could it be? Your body was modified. Who are you, kid?"

Gill asked.

"Noah… Remember that name because that name is owned by the man who'll beat your ass."

Noah vanished from his position.

"Behind? No? Where is he?"

Gill and the terrorist turned their heads all around the camp searching.

"Gravity zone…"

His deep voice was heard high up the ceiling. Lumine was amazed at Noah's growth from his battle with the Elysium knights last time. Or maybe, this wasn't his growth. This is his true potential on display.

Truth be told. Noah wasn't using his full output at all. His cosmic weapon ability can do a lot more than he knows. But those strengths should be mastered first before being wielded by someone like Noah.

The air trembles together with the ground.

"An earthquake?"

The terrorist yelled in panic. They're all inside the mine tunnel. A cave! earthquake is a phenomenon you won't like occurring in this place. Lumine herself was running around in panic.

"Noah! Don't kill me!"

"Gravity zone: Ten thousand ton pull!"

The bodies of each terrorist seem to rapidly increase. All of them fell sticking on the earth. Gill channels dense energy through his sword and body to fight back the gravitational pull, but before his word can reach Noah.

Noah already has another plan on going.

"Gravity: Repulse!"

Gill has blasted away in full power and got buried deep down.

"That ability is similar to Claire's."

Lumine commented.

"Well, that big-ass lady was the inspiration for that technique. Also, I think I could do Retract too." Noah landed like a feather back to the ground and look down at the terrorist whose body was stuck on the ground.

Noah cracks his fist and walks toward them with a big cruel smile.

"Now, who should I beat first."

"Who is this kid? His ability is like of his…"

"Another brat with cheat-like powers. I'm so done with them."

The terrorist said.

"Another brat with cheat-like power," Lumine muttered. Noah also heard it but didn't really care and started the beating he gave each of them a punch that would swallow their face and put them unconscious.

While Noah was busy in the beating. Lumine follows the desire of her stomach and chows down roasted meat at the side.

"I already beat them down… We should search for adult beastmen so that they don't have to worry about anything at all anymore." Say Noah wiping is sweat. He then turned his eyes in disappointment to Lumine whose now unable to stand up after eating.

"Hey, what is wrong with you…"

"So alcohol tastes like that. It's so strong I want to puke…. Guuuuuu~"

Lumine vomits the food she eats and her face color red. She tried to stand up but swayed and eventually fell.

"Someone push me! You push me, Noah. How dare you push a beautiful maiden like me? Are you not charmed by my flawless beauty?"

"What are you saying? It's the alcohol talking."

Noah assisted Lumine on a rock and made her sit down. He then proceeds to look for some water for Lumine. Normally, a strong coffee will do the trick, but there is probably no coffee here. So Noah can only make Lumine drink water.

He took a bottle of water got a cup and handed it to Lumine.

"How can you mis understand alcohol from water?"

"I didn't misunderstand. People in my kingdom don't want me to take a sip of alcohol and I was curious all this time… Now I know… It's strong and made my problem away. I feel so happy too."

"You're curiosity is too much."

"Well, how can I resist? I was imprisoned in the castle… I was envied, but to be honest, it's the opposite. I envy normal people. I don't want this pretty exaggerated dress and accessories. I want some adventure and many many friends. Well, romance will be the last since it's the endpoint. When people get married they'll be tied to that person forever. No more freedom… No more adventuring… No more journey."

Lumine after saying that collapsed down.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"Yeah, maybe I just need to lay down for a bit… Also, be careful, the battle wasn't over… The guy with dense photon energy is approaching."

"R-really?!"

Tick… Tick... Tick… Sounds of footsteps nearing Lumine and Noah.

From the dark tunnel connected to a deeper level. A young man appeared. A young man with white hair and pure blue eyes. His face looked like a girl, but his body was chiseled with muscles.

"I was wondering where the dense energy is coming from. I thought it was Gill, but it's stronger… I got curious to check it out. But to think that I'll be meeting an old friend was a surprise."

"You are?"

"yes… I am your old friend Noah."

"No, I don't quite remember you. Who are you again?"

The white-haired boy looks at Noah with disappointed eyes.

"Hey, how dare you forget about me. I was the strongest Cosmic weapon. Seth! Seth!"

"Seth… That's a lie… Seth always wears a mask."

Noah replied.

Seth scratched his head at how idiotic Noah was right now. Thinking back then, it was true that Seth never took off his mask. Well, that mask has a special purpose. But now he doesn't need the mask. He started to understand why Noah didn't recognize him. Seth grows taller, his voice becomes a bit deeper, and has a lean muscular body now.

It's been many years already after the cosmic war after all.

"Well, if don't believe me, then, I guess I have to do this…"

Seth made a gun gesture on his hand and… "Swoosh!"

The rock wall behind Noah was cleaved deep in an instant.

"Spacial slash!"

Noah's memories resurface and remembers one of his friends and one of the cosmic weapons disposed of after the cosmic war.

"Spacial cosmic ability… Seth… You truly are Seth." Noah smiled delighted to meet him.

"Don't give me that smile… We are enemies…"
