Hunting Goblins

Various of monsters roam around the forest, some monsters can communicate and speak simple sentences and others couldn't. The monster that couldn't speak was easiest to hunt as they solely rely on their instinct.

Rabbits and boars monsters are easier to kill as they rely only on their instinct. However, hunting monsters with high intelligent like Goblins and Orcs reaped bigger rewards. Fighting them is hard, but the loot he would get will be plenty.

Goblins and Orcs tooth were used in various means. They can use in making potions and magical equipments. Their crude armor and weapon can be sold to the Armory and if you're lucky you can even meet monsters that carry money, but that's a rare thing.

But first, Vincent needed to prepare himself.

One dagger, 3 throwing knives, and one sword. It was better equipment that he had before.

On his previous life, Vincent only bought a club.

He was partying with 4 Jobless. It wasn't a great memory.

'Let's try a rabbit first'.

Vincent walked towards the forest. He didn't try to fight goblins or orcs. Orcs were stronger than humans and goblins were usually in group and used poisons.

In comparison to the two, rabbits were easy to hunt. They were smaller, and only had a basic attack, head-butting and biting.

Even a Jobless person would be able to hunt one with a dagger.

A while later, a small rabbit with white fur emerged from the bushes. It is a young rabbit and it was the best opponent for his current status.

The rabbit eyes were red as looked at Vincent's direction. That made Vincent become cautious and use his Star Chaser Sword Technique.

It is a skill that increased speed, making his body lighter. Vincent charged quickly, faster than any 14 years old from Earth. With great speed, Vincent slash and cut the rabbit with his sword.

His sword went smoothly through the rabbit's body, cutting it with great ease.

Puchii~

The rabbit's head fell.

For his sword Technique, speed was only needed. It was hard to change its course of direction midair, it wouldn't work on an opponent that can dodge in time, but it worked perfectly fine on a rabbit.

Vincent frowned and looked down on his hand. His right hand were hurting because of his attack.

A 15 years old skin were too fragile for his current skills. He needed to form callouses on his palm to handle his attack.

There's not much he could earn from a rabbit. He didn't even have an Inventory to store it. Magic Inventories were sold at Genesis in an expensive price that the current Vincent couldn't even afford or dream buying one. Vincent didn't even have a bag either. Thus, all he wanted to do was to kill few goblins.

But first he needed to become familiar with his current body. He fought a few rabbits along the way while walking around.

He contemplated about his current handling of skills. He couldn't execute many sword skills and have a worn out battle. He was so weak that he already got tired after slashing his sword a few times.

Vincent didn't have the strength and the stamina.

He groaned. His hand were bleeding. He was hungry and thirsty and tired after all he had done! He sighed and came to terms with his dire state.

If he had a bag or gotten a bread, he would not be this tired and hungry. Sighing, Vincent used the Circulation of Heaven Qi. It wouldn't give much experience, but he would still gain some points, while walking slowly and not moving too greatly.

Vincent was getting closer to the goblin and orc lair. He knew that it was a suicidal attempt if he went there, thus he stayed away from their nest.

Vincent remembered the layout of the forest, but it only a few things.

Looking around while walking and seeing a tree with a symbol. A circle. A goblin symbols.

In each tribe, they were about 50 goblins. He looked around and saw that there're only circles inscribed on the nearby trees. He walked, and as he walked, he ripped off a small section of his sleeve.

He cut a small wound and the blood dripped down slowly, he soaked the rip piece of cloth. And threw it towards the bush. He then began rolling around the ground, his body covered by dirt.

He finished doing everything and bandage the wound with another rip clothes. Climbing a tree.

He then quieted his breathing and slow his heartbeat. It was time to wait for goblins who patrol and often scouted the area to scavenge food and ensure that there're no intruders on their territory.

It took about 30 minutes before goblins appeared. There were three of them and wield small knives and a long stick.

Poison needle.

A goblin's raw power wasn't great. However, they moved in groups and were quite intelligent and quipped themselves with poison.

It was only a paralyzing poison and not lethal. But right now, it would be hard for him to fight against 3 goblins directly.

The goblins smelled their surroundings. The scent of blood, sweat of humans, and other various of smell pervaded the area.

Vincent took out a small throwing knife, and took a few breaths of air. He plunged and his knife went straight down.

"Ahkkk"

The dagger landed on the back if the goblin's neck. Seeing that, Vincent immediately threw the other daggers towards the other goblins. All daggers headed for their necks and landed accurately.

He pulled out his knife and slashed it against the goblins.

...

The three goblins were dead.

He pulled out the throwing daggers embedded in their necks. And began to loot their corpses.

Three knives, three poison needles and finally three bottles of poison. Even they had a wallet as they took it from the dead body.

There were 10,000 Pangesis in it.

Vincent took everything that the goblins had. He pulled out 5 empty bottles and filled them up with blood. He also pulled out their teeth one by one. Since he did not have a bag, he stuffed it in his pocket.

Hunt is over... for today.
