"Xia Xia, do you remember what your parents were like?" Richard asked gently and carefully. He knew Anxia wanted to find her dead or alive mother. They hadn't mentioned the girl's mother in the last few days, so Richard was worried that his wife would become depressed again thinking about it. Fortunately, his worries didn't occur because Anxia answered him in an even and relaxed tone.
"I don't really remember them. But I remember my mother loved me dearly, and I loved her very much. My dad would take us to the beach and teach me to kite every weekend."
Anxia shifted and lifted her legs in an oblique position and lifted her buttocks to sit on Richard's left thigh. Her hands wrapped around her husband's neck, and both faced each other looking into their partner's eyes.
