"Lu Hao has returned," Xiao Yichen said.
"So you know!" Luo Ziyan's voice came through softly on the other end. "An hour ago, I received a call from Lu Hao. He said he had just arrived at the hotel and called me to inform you and Zishen about our lunch together tomorrow."
Luo Ziyan realized he hadn't clarified and added, "Lu Hao didn't call you and Zishen because he assumed you were busy with work. Don't overthink it."
"Okay," Xiao Yichen replied, now understanding the situation. He had planned to call Ziyan to inquire, but Lu Hao had already contacted him.
"In that case, I'll inform you now! Let's have lunch together tomorrow. Don't be late. I'll send you the address later," Luo Ziyan confirmed.
"Okay," Xiao Yichen responded. He chatted with Luo Ziyan for a while before ending the call.
In the afternoon, after finishing work, Xiao Yichen didn't drive home. Instead, he went to his mother-in-law's house.
