After Xiao Yichen drove away, Lin Wan pivoted and returned to the villa. After going directly to the second floor, she commenced packing her belongings.
Fortunately, there wasn't much to gather. Lin Wan had only brought the essentials—two sets of seasonal clothing and her computer. A compact suitcase proved ample to accommodate everything.
At 8.00 am, Lin Wan ascertained that Auntie Li had departed from the villa. Upon standing in the bedroom, she surveyed the space before placing the car keys and an additional credit card from Xiao Yichen on the dressing table. After exiting the room, she descended the stairs.
Lin Wan lingered briefly in the living room, committing the house's appearance to memory, before finally leaving the villa.
Outside, Lu Hao awaited her by the entrance.
As Lin Wan emerged, he promptly exited the car and approached. He took the suitcase from her and said, "We can't linger here for too long. Let's go quickly."
