Lin Wan did not reject him. She nodded and, taking a detour, lay on the other side of the bed, settling into his arms.
Xiao Yichen was content to have Lin Wan in his embrace.
"Ah Chen." Lin Wan suddenly lifted her head from Xiao Yichen's chest and gazed at his face.
"Yes, what's wrong?" Xiao Yichen responded promptly.
"I want to resign," Lin Wan stated.
Xiao Yichen was taken aback. He hadn't anticipated this sudden announcement from her.
"I don't want to go to work anymore. I want to stay home," Lin Wan confessed, her tone tinged with nervousness.
While she had been pondering in the bathroom earlier, she felt that she should attend to certain matters since she was leaving.
"Alright, if you don't want to go, don't. I'll contact Dream Phil company tomorrow and inform them. You can go to the company to hand over your work, and I'll have You Luan manage the resignation procedures," Xiao Yichen assured her.
