After hearing this, Lin Wan requested, "Please prepare less of those dishes. It's sufficient for Yichen. Make me some vegetable porridge instead. I'm not very hungry tonight and just want something light."
She hadn't had much of an appetite today. Despite her light meal in the afternoon, she wasn't hungry now and preferred something easy on the stomach for dinner.
"Of course, Madam," Auntie Li replied courteously, as she naturally complied with her mistress's wishes.
In the evening, Lin Wan and Xiao Yichen dined in the dining room. After Lin Wan consumed two small bowls of porridge, she ascended to the study.
In the afternoon, she took leave and had no work. So, she wanted to spend some quiet time in the study, hoping to find inspiration and create some designs.
Xiao Yichen guessed Lin Wan went to study to work so he didn't disturb her. He sat alone in the living room, watching television.
