Chapter 53: Helemoira

We didn't have much time. Once I filled Pelleas in on everything that had happened to me, Geien took over the discussion. He called everyone back in so that he could deliver the news. Antora even joined us with a beautiful dark-skinned female I had never seen before.

"Vulan," Geien greeted her and Ettrian went to his knee with a gasp.

When he rose to his feet once more, he pulled out a chair at one end of the table for her and she took it with a small smile. Antora went to stand beside her, declining a chair. Geien pulled out the seat at the other end of the table and motioned for me to sit. As I did, he took his place beside me and Pelleas mirrored him on my other side. I blushed as everyone looked at me, a question on their lips.

Lensa, Amelina and Rian joined us as well as Haldir and Cyran. They each took their seats, Haldir at my side and Lensa on the other, followed by Ettrian at Vulan's side.
